Back in July I was stranded at the Salt Lake City Airport due to the Microsoft/Crowdstrike debacle. I left Boise to make a connecting flight to Salt Lake City then to Dallas. While I was stranded, very few positive things happened. It was an absolute nightmare. I had a lot of time to kill because my flight was getting cancelled one after the other. I decided I might as well get something to eat. I was unsure as to when my flight was actually going to take off, I didn't want to stray to far from my ever changing gates. So I stopped by Starbucks to get caffeinated and a small bite. While in line, I also picked up a souvenir for my wife who was back home in Texas. Despite the HUGE crowds, the employees were so nice and very professional. Despite having attitude from some customers. They were all making sure the orders were completed in a timely manner and made sure you had your drinks and food you ordered. All without dropping the smile on their faces. I thought that was good. I jump into Starbucks and grabbed the first thing I saw because I was about to miss my flight. The person behind the counter said, hey, take it, I'll pay for it, go make your flight.
