Chocolate Drip Bakery — Restaurant in San Angelo

Called and ordered a wedding cake. I wanted a chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling. Was told they could not do the filling, so I settled for strawberries. My husband put the down payment after stating this cake can be done. So Friday before the delivery the store called me, they did not seem to remember my order. Informed me the bottom tier of my 3 teir cake has to be vanilla or the cake will sink in bc of the strawberry syrup. I informed them I was under the impression it was fresh strawberries not syrup, and asked if they could put cardboard in between the layers to prevent it from sinking. I was told no. Then I was informed they did not want to do the design of the cake that was agreed upon at the beginning. The store owner wanted me to go to the store to see the cake she wanted to make me. But wouldn't wait for me to get off work to meet me. I asked the owner to send me a picture of the cake she wanted to make me . She never sent it. They worker and owner talked over me and refused to work with me on anything. So I found some one else to make the cake I wanted in the first place and canceled my order. The worker that was there informed me that the owner leaves the store and that's it for her for the day. That is the reason I never got pictures sent. Got chocolate mousse cup and chocolate cake. Would have loved to see choclate mouse or tuxedo cake! The mousse was yummy, cake light and fluffy. Not overly sweet. The lady working was nice and respectful. Four stars because of two pet peeves. Not everything had signs of what they were and prices. I dont like asking what everything is especially when people are waiting behind me. The second, there was a $5 credit card minimum. I would rather have the option to pay the credit card fee if under their minimum than have to buy more product. If I ever have cash in my pocket, I'll go back and try...
