It was my first time going and I really loved it! When i walked in It gave me a nostalgic feeling of how the world used to be, folks sitting in and enjoying each other's company while eating some danm good smoked bbq! Nobody seemed to be botherd or to have any worries the best oart was no one was on there phone while eating! there were laughs and memories to be created. I came here for lunch. It sits on the corner and has a small parking lot with a short drive through. I didn't have to wait long in the drive through and placed my order. The staff was very friendly and worked quickly to keep the line moving. I got the chopped beef sandwich with smoked BBQ and coleslaw. The sandwich was amazing, every bite was dripping with meat and BBQ sauce and eat over the wrapper to catch anything that falls out. Smokey BBQ, delicious potato and macaroni salad and of course when in Texas you have to wash it down with a Dr Pepper!
The drive thru line is quick but you know it’s a popular place based off how fast they’re in and out!
Small but extremely polite crew pumping out some quality meats!!!
Close to Angelo State and major roads so getting there is just as easy as getting that hot food home!
