Not so crazy about this hole in the wall. Elote was the most disgusting thing I have ever put in my mouth. CANNED CORN AND CAN CHEESE. Nothing as they advertised it was completely trash. Was asked if I wanted cheese I said yes thinking traditional parm or crumble Cotija cheese with crunched up hot cheetos on a whole corn cob with light mayo. What I got was a bowl of canned corn, with a huge squirt of mayonnaise in the middle hot Cheetos, fully intact, on top with a huge dollop of canned cheese. I have never seen canned Nacho cheese on elote. It was the most grotesque thing I've ever come across. And what's more ridiculous is the price ran dame near $50 for 2 cups of fruit and a bowl of elote. NOT WORTH THE MONEY..... SAY AWAY..... to many friends and family posting good things about this place it's a scam!!!!!!!!!
Multiple pictures I have seen on reviews are also a scam and they do not offer them. They are stealing them from other...
Read moreNice people, MEHHHHHHHHHHH drinks. If I weren't spoiled by having used to live a block away from an amazing paleteria awhile back (because, obviously, they did drinks and fruit too), I'd like this place more.
They're not bad, but every time I taste their stuff, I can't help but to compare it to the creamy, decadent heaven of the place I used to live by. This probably isn't a fair review for this place, but I would be dishonoring the memory of those fine middle aged ladies if I gave this place any higher.
Damn I love me some old ladies who know how to make things. It was like love in a cup.
I rate this place "Way better than Sonic drinks, way worse than a paleteria run by age 50+ grannies of the Latin American variety who capture sunshine, smiles in a cup."
I was going to say rainbows too, but we all know who...
Read moreThis was my second time trying this place. Of course, the function we were at, only offered this place for anything to drink. This was also my husband's first time. I told him not to try the aquas cause of my first experience. But we were thirsty and unfortunately, we had no choice. He got the horchata aqua, and let me tell you....it tasted a like watered down mix that came straight out of a can. It was nasty! I got the pineapple cup, and those pineapple pieces were not ripe at all! This will be the last time we will ever buy anything from this place! I'd rather drive and use up all of my gas and go to the only place here in town that I know offers the BEST fruit & aquas, and that's Pinguis Paleteria...
