Our club had a "Topless Tuesday" meting there. Oh yeah, it's a Jeep club! There were about 20 or so of us present. It was doubling as a birthday party for one of the more "senior" club members. She and her husband love the place; I had never been before.

A "party room" had been reserved with seating for roughly 50.The menu offerings were your typical Tex-Mex fare, such as tacos. burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, and of course, my fave, chimichangas!

It didn't take long for the first plates of food to come out, but once the kitchen got busy, it got behind a little, but not unreasonably so. Everyone was pleased with their orders, though there was only one, younger fella working our section, and he was having a little trouble keeping up with everything. Still, he managed to bull his way through and wound up with a nice roll of bills from us.

The place was undergoing some renno, so atmosphere wasn't the greatest, but, TBH, we weren't there for the atmosphere; we went for good food, cold beer, and good friends.

If you've read this far, I'd say give the place a go! I'm going...

I’ve been going ever since I was little but there’s this guy that works there that he’s been our waiter twice now; some skinny bald guy with tats has a missing tooth (didn’t wanna to point out the tooth but it’s part of the description why leave it out) He always takes our order like he’s in a hurry and is kinda rude. He gets your drinks and if there’s multiple people he just responds with “K” and goes down the line like hurry up. And he doesn’t specify I ordered taquitos and forgot the options were beef or chicken and just says “what kind?” And i was confused and repeats “WHAT KIND!” Very rudley i was embarrassed. Went there for Mother Day and it wasn’t the experience we should’ve gotten on a special day. He should be a little nicer, I wonder if I can recommend another waiter because that guy puts the whole mood down. But the food is good. Just a better attitude from him would be appreciated I’d rather go to the...

The food was amazing!! We had a long waiting time only because of the Lakeview graduation today. But they did everything they could to accommodate us as quickly as possible. The only disappointment was the manager who wasn't very friendly, seemed annoyed and frustrated at my request for 2 high chairs (even though my kids were accounted for in the number of people for out table). She got onto my daughter for grabbing the salt shaker because she said it was breakable (we dont let our kids run wild, I will get onto my own kid if needed). And over all just didnt appreciate her and the way she cared for our party. But all the other employees were amazing!! Again, food was fantastic; I got the avocado enchiladas and my husband got the chicken fried steak and it was all...

Here we have a wonderful Mexican restaurant located in Jacksonville North Carolina. Particularly wonderful food, and I have to honestly say the only concern I have about this particular location is it chips I've never seen a place serve such thin chips, these chips are so thin they could cause a choking problem and like that you definitely cannot talk and eat these chips easily suck down the windpipe. So if you do go to this particular restaurant be aware of the very thin this of the chips. But other than that I can say nothing else negative about this location. Since I do eat at Mexican restaurants I've never seen a restaurant have chips so thin.

Absolutely loved coming to this place during lunch. The server was amazing, bringing hot chips to our table before we were through with the first basket. Each place setting was nice and clean and the decor was typical of Mexican restaurants with bright colors and artwork paying homage to the traditional Mexican identity. The food was delicious and brought out pretty quick. Even brought out a quesadilla my wife and I talked about trying to make at home for our daughter. It did seem like there was a bit of clutter with so many TVs but I imagine that's for sports nights for different games. Would definitely recommend this place for every visit!

AHHH Shrimp Fajitas,. Simply delicious, the service was just a little slow, but they appeared to be slightly understaffed too apparently they were busier than usual fir a Friday night. none the less, our poor waitress did everything she could to make sure to keep up with our needs. we, my wife and I, had a very nice visit. so no complaints. And will definitely return at a different time.
