A place like no other, at times magical, with a serene beauty and friendly charm. A special gift the city's forefathers and foremothers left for the people of San Antonio and her visitors. I often have to remind myself that I'm in the middle of Texas. So much history has happened here. So many different cultures represented with a very vibrant one being the most noticeable. A visit to this city and especially its Riverwalk, it's Paseo Del Rio, will change how you see Texas and will likely stay with you as an enchanting memory. San Antonians really have a special home they can be proud of, and it shows. Well done, San Antonio. Hold on to your heritage and don't let anyone...

This is a pretty place on the river in San Angelo. Abundant shade at this time with handicap accessible picnic table. Due to the pandemic my family went through a drive-through and went to the river to eat rsther than dining in. While mid-October the temperature today was about 90. There was a nice breeze off the river. While I did not see it one of my adult children told me there was a nice water feature a short walk from where I had to sit down. Everyone there appeared to be enjoying themselves and were maintaining social distancing in mostly family or friend groups. I do not live in this city and was happy to find a place outside that was pretty and...

A river front area can be one of 3 things. Ye Olde Tourist trap A place where you wouldn't want to park your van down by the river. or A great place to go wander, look at the murals and sculptures and enjoy an evening. The river walk area around the art museum bridge was a nice area for taking pictures and watching a sunset.

Now, a little warning, one evening we tried to go and the maps function sent us to an unlit section of trail, so we called it off that explore and started over. If you aren't sure, start with the art museum and park in that...

Nice place to walk, with some shade but be warned: shade is not everywhere. There's plenty of pokemon go locations if you're in to that. The ducks and other wildlife is pretty friendly. I haven't seen any snakes yet, so can't speak to that. There are some areas that stink but thankfully the majority of the area does not. There's some nice scenery here.

San Angelo has a Beautiful Riverwalk. The renovations and restoration is so lovely to walk around downtown. Usually you'll see vendors selling ice cream, snow cones and sometimes food trucks. But there are also may stores, shops and restaurants right downtown, just a few steps away.

Too many people feeding ducks bread. Do your research. It is never a good idea. Pretty place but people have been littering and dumping non native ducks. Its super heart breaking. Very dirty and many many fishing hooks and line left everywhere.
