Best-looking visitor center I've ever seen! When I visited San Angelo on a business trip in November and stayed at the Econo Lodge San Angelo, which was just newly renovated under new management, I asked what was a good sight to see close to the hotel. The front desk agent Kim pointed out the San Angelo Visitor Center was just a few minutes walk away so I walked over to take a look. My husband and I really enjoyed our visit with Mr. Talley while at the Visitor's Center. He was helpful without being over bearing, a real gent, raised in San Angelo. A lovely welcoming center with beautiful landscaping overlooking the Concho River. If you are traveling through San Angelo, make this center one of your stops, even if just to sit at one of the benches overlooking the river, to take a break from whatever it was you...

What a beautiful place to see. We visited the Concho River Walk and it was immaculately landscaped. Beautiful stones, lush green grass, waterfalls, geese and art installations. Plenty of open spaces to relax, unwind or just think. It's the type of place for a small group of friends or to be by yourself.
