We saw this place shared on social media. It received good reviews. We wanted to try it. The food is good. I had the tortilla soup to start with. It was a little different and had a little bit of spiciness to it. I then ordered the Char-Grilled Salmon Fillet and the wife ordered Char-Grilled Short Rib Burger with Parmesan garlic tots (they were very tasty). The hospitality was excellent. Two different people checked on us to see how was everything beside our server. Our server was very attentive and full of suggestions. The ambiance could be better. This restaurant is nestled inside a newer Embassy Suites hotel in this area on the south side of San Antonio. We did not stay at this hotel, but we drove to the 1917 Restaurant based on recommendations my wife found on Pinterest. It did not disappoint, and we will likely return on our next trip to...
