UPDATE... I only have one visit on a weekday and once on a weekend.... Weekday torts were ok, weekend tortillas rocked. Food was still great. A full tasty Pork chop slapped into a tortilla, yes plz. Service was still fab
HOME OF MAGIC TORTILLAS. These are my mom's and grandmother's. Powdery puffy soft magic disks. A stick of butter and a stack of these. Yes please. And just an FYI they sell the tortillas to go. Ummm. Homemade for sure. Just wish they were making them at MY home lol. We went early so I don't know if this magic continues throughout the day but I'll be more than happy to test that out lol. . I understand they also make their own corn tortillas. I'll check that out in a few days. I sent the link and a few pics to a friend I'll see in a few days. They immediately responded YES! LOL. Loved my bean and cheese taco. Smooth flavorful textured beans. My fluffy eggs and bacon taco was perfect. My carne guisada was red gravy, I'm a fan of brown, but it was tender and juicy. This friend's brother suggested the place in particular for the tortillas. My friend took one bite out of their Taco and immediately sent a text to their brother with loads of thanks. I cannot speak more highly about the wonderful attention. The service was spectacular. They made you feel like you belonged. I felt like we were being treated like regulars and this was the first time for both of us. But trust me it will not be the last for either one of us. It's not close by and like with most taco places, I have to pass several to get there But I will make that run again. I don't know if they were celebrating something, but they had a tray of cupcakes up in the window and the gentleman from the register brought us each one as a gift. That was literally the icing...

I know where I grew up, if you actually find a Family owned and RUN restaurant, it was worth going to. I enjoyed the decorations and atmosphere. I was respectful and patient and was not disappointed. I had Chorizo con huevo, Barbacoa tacos, and my wife had a Migas plate it was Amazjngly delicious. Small staff, so be patient and enjoy the food. I saw more than 1 customer come in, and they were greeted as if they knew each other. It's a family atmosphere. I love that the Flour and Corn tortillas are homemade. I also purchased Calabacita with pollo, and it was Amazing. The Staff is very kind and friendly and of course very busy. The restaurant is small and cozy yet can hold large families if needed. The restaurant is Open till 2:30 pm but all the Great restaurants close early. (FAMILY TIME) This place is a hidden GEM. When I was there, I saw the owners working hard and greeting everyone kindly. There are so many different Menu items for those Authentic Mexican food customers......Fideo, chicharron, barbacoa, Albondiga with Chipotle, Calabacita with pollo to name a few and of course all your Favorite regular Mexican plates.
