Agave Jalisco Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in San Antonio

I had gone to this restaurant 3 or 4 times before today with very pleasant experience but this morning I ordered two tacos and one of them tasted awful so I called the server and told her, she went to the kitchen came back and said “the cook said the ham is the reason why it tastes like that there is nothing we can do” so I said can you change it for a different taco and she sai very nervous and embarrassed “i don’t think they would want to do that” so i left it as it was, payed and left. I didn’t eat the taco and there was no money taken off the bill. This is 100% back of the house issue, the server was great and did what she could but the cook or manager did not want to fix the issue , thats awful customers service on their part , will not...

If I could give 0 stars I would. Called to go back and get my money back. And they denied me only because other people don’t complain about their food. What happened to the customer always being right?. I explained to the server that I don’t care about what others think if they like their food for my taste buds it’s disgusting. She apparently talked to the owner about this and he said that “because she didn’t like the tacos I can’t give her a refund”. I got the 3x $4.50 potatoe and egg with flour tortilla. What kind of service is that. I’m happy they have business but for my taste they are by far the worst. Visiting the city for business and from a border town neighboring Mexico. Recently tried another Mexican restaurant and was not authentic in flavor and presentation. I usually don’t try mexican restaurants away from the border towns because they are not as authentic as the actual cuisine. This restaurant had great food, excellent service and attentive from multiple waitresses. I got the beef enchiladas which I’m always skeptical about with authenticity but I truly loved them and the plating. I never give reviews and rarely give a tip of more than 30% but I feel like I needed to to show my appreciation and share this for those authentic Mexican cuisine seekers away...
