Today I visited Archie’s Coffee Lounge at 9630 Huebner Rd, and let me just say—it’s a hidden gem in a great location! It’s nestled right next to a Patio Bar and Alamo Biscuit Company, with plenty of outdoor seating and a chill vibe that’s perfect for San Antonio’s sunny weather. I didn’t get a chance to explore the other spots, but I’ll definitely be back.
I came in curious about their drink enhancers and decided to try the 16oz Mr. Chagaccino with vanilla—and WOW, it did not disappoint. I usually go for a caramel macchiato at Starbucks, but I was craving something different, and the staff recommended the Chagaccino. I got it hot (because I’m a hot drinks girlie), but you can order it hot or iced. It was smooth, rich, and the flavor was just right—not overpowering or too sweet.
The atmosphere was super clean and cozy, with the perfect indoor temp to balance out the San Antonio heat. I visited around midday on a Thursday, and it wasn’t crowded at all, which made the whole experience even better.
They clearly love their community and pups—I noticed a digital sign mentioning they offer special treats to help keep your furry friends calm. They also host social events every Friday and Saturday, which makes me want to come back for the vibes alone.
Bonus: It’s wheelchair accessible with lots of open space to move around comfortably, both inside and out.
Archie’s is now on my list of favorite local spots. If you’re in the area and want something cozy, tasty, and a little different—this...
Read moreI was honestly super excited to try this place out for my birthday yesterday (9/14)but was really disappointed due to the customer service. Upon walking in a blonde lady saw us come in and immediately without greeting/acknowledging us turned around and walked to the back bar. It being our first time there were confused on where we were supposed to order. When we went to where the blonde girl was she still didn’t acknowledge us and when I asked if they had a cocktail menu she very reluctantly said yes and handed me one. It honestly felt like we were inconveniencing her. We then waited what felt like 10-15 minutes for two drinks and so we went up to the bar area and the drinks were sitting there. The blonde girl did not let us know our drinks were ready. She also failed to mention that the little sealed cup was the thc until asked. I ordered the mint mule which was actually very good so around 15 minutes till close I went up to another brunette employee who was too busy to acknowledge us so I then asked if I could order another drink and she said “ughhh yeah…” . Overall I honestly see potential in the place if only you could find employees that make you feel welcome and don’t make you feel like you’re...
Read moreArchies is such a great establishment! I was a bit of a groupie when they were called Rodkey’s but I really honestly love this company better! It is so chic, yet organized, swanky, and such a warm environment! The aura of the place is so inviting and positive literally every time I walk through the door. I’ve conversed with the owner a few times, and she’s such a friendly, informative, just like her employees. I’ve learned from her that almost all, if not, all of their products are curated & produced here in San Antonio! They service a series of products including their coffee— which has almost been my everyday go to this past week 🤫 lol I’ve ordered their vanilla latte with extra extra caramel… as much as possible lol with 2 servings of their cbd. I think that’s my usual lol I was grateful to receive a little surprise from the guys today 🥺 so I want to say thank you guys for being such an awesome, friendly, swanky establishment. Yall are great! See...
