WORST BUSINESS AND SERVICE EVER. The donuts were not worth the hassle. I was initially paying with cash, but I didn't have enough to cover it. So, I told the cashier I woul just use my debt card. The cashier said no because she already cashed me out because she thought I would give her more money. I said okay and I was going to leave because said she had to call her manager. But she called the manager. Manager, "no, no. She has to use cash if that's what she was doing and you opened the drawer!" Cashier, "she doesn't have enough money." A man next to me gave me the cash to cover it. I wanted to leave so the place would not get wither of our money. However, the man was so nice ad insisted not to worry. I didn't want to rebuke his kind gesture. However, I'm never going back and they will never get my money again. You sell mediocre donuts (they were not great), not life saving equipment...

I was also surprised at the limited customer service skills of the two male employees who were at serving customers. They acted as if everything was a huge imposition to them. Also there was not a napkin to be found in the entire place. Was treated rudely when I asked for a napkin. We spent $33 on food that was thrown out. We...
Read moreMy wife absolutely loves Shipley Do-Nuts and visits occasionally to treat herself. On a recent visit, she picked up some of her favorite donuts only to discover that one was missing from the bag when she got home. We returned to the store shortly afterward to let them know, but by that time, the staff had changed shifts.
We explained the situation to the employee on duty, but she said she didn’t have access to the security cameras and couldn’t confirm anything. Rather than offering any kind of resolution or even acknowledging the mistake, she told me rather rudely, that if I wanted the donut, I’d need to buy it again.
It was disappointing to receive that kind of response, especially from a place we usually enjoy. A little understanding...
