Black Rock Coffee Bar — Restaurant in San Antonio

I've been going to various places specifically for coffee in particular blended coffee. When I can't get blended I accept iced. This may chsnge if the temperatures EVER calm down. Great service, good coffee, overpriced for what you get. Incorrect/misleading menu at the drive through. If a company's gonna spend the money to have an outdoor menu then make it more informative. I have seen companies that will give a range for example this is just a rough example from $5 - $8, this is honest. $5 alone is dishonest. The employee was kind and patient with my questions after I was surprised with the bearly doubled in price of what I ordered. I hate (the companies, not the employees.) liars and cheaters and that's how I view this company because they're too lazy to put a - and another number after that -. There's way too much competition for this type of place. I will not be back. It wasn't exactly in my path so I made a special trip to check them out, not doing it again because like I said the coffee was good, it wasn't...

10/10 would recommend! Black rock coffee is the best! I recommend an iced blonde americano with cream, but any coffee you get here will be amazing. They ALWAYS make my coffee right. I would come back for the customer service alone. They always remember me and treat me super great. The store is always clean and welcoming. They are never out of anything i want. Me and all my friends and family only go here. The manager Amanda is so sweet and friendly she really cares about the customers. Always happy to spend my money here. If you haven’t tried you should! It’s life changing. Way better than Starbucks (where all you get is a sugary coffee and an attitude) also way better than Dutch bros( where you get an overly nice fake personality and a watered down sugar bomb as well) I’ve never found a better place than this Black rock coffee bar right here. If I had free time I would totally work for free coffee...

I like Black Rock and hope they will be successful for the neighborhood. However, when I used the drive-thru window, I ordered drip coffee with one stevia and nothing else. After I got home, I realized I had a coffee with cream and it wasn’t sweet. I may have gotten someone else's order. Also, a couple of weeks ago, I ordered an Americano at the drive-thru. I'm not a coffee snob, but I know enough about Americano that it takes about 5 minutes to properly make it from 2 shots of espresso with hot water added. If I really got Americano at the window with no wait, then it was probably pre-brewed and stored.

But my puppy loves their "puppychino," so we'll still use their drive-thru.

Update, 12/22/2023. The coffee, Caramel Blondie and drip coffee are good, so I go inside to order. Results are better than drive-thru, and the puppychinos still make my...
