Daiso - Japanese Household Goods — Local services in San Antonio

This store is so cute! It was very clean and organized, plus well stocked. The man who was our cashier was incredibly friendly and personable as well, even making sure to double wrap all of our breakable items securely. The prices were fair and everything is affordable, especially for the quality. For anyone who doesn’t know, some of the items aren’t imported from Japan, but actually china. There’s no issue with that whatsoever, and all of the many items we have gotten from here were actually great quality. So don’t let that deter you from picking up some cute stuff! We actually picked up a big cat plushie from an Austin location almost two years ago now, and it’s still as perfect as the day we got it. This store is amazing. Not only is it clean and well-stocked, but the customer service is out of this world. I called hoping to get a shelf-check on an item I wanted to buy more of, without any item numbers, just a description. The store manager, Stephanie, worked multiple hours to not only check her location for the item on the shelves, but also somehow found the item number and was able to check the inventories of Daisos across San Antonio. She personally gave me different options of where and how I can purchase the item.

I was surprised how clean everything was here. Very organized. They have lots of things from Asia ( the whole store). It's very unique in a way, the items have the price from overseas, so they have charts posted everywhere to check the price in USD. My favorite part was the Food/snack area. I've always wanted to try their snacks and try to make food from items that actually come from Asia. I'll probably try their other stores and see if they're...
