Brevity Coffee Co. — Restaurant in San Antonio

Re-posting my previous review now that the Google Maps location has the Brevity name associated with it. This review was written AFTER Red Runner merged with Brevity. My experiences here ARE from BREVITY services, so it's a valid review.

Let me start off by saying I've been ordering coffee from the franchise since it was Toro and was excited when the RR opened up here after the name change.

HOWEVER: This location has kind of gone downhill in the evening after the switch to Brevity.

Some of the staff just wants to push the drinks out and doesn't add extras that were ordered (I was a regular, but after correcting the exact same staff members twice on the same order I always made and them still getting it wrong and making a big deal out of it, I stopped going to this location). I don't order anything crazy (standard menu item, add whip), so it's not that either.

Also, MAJOR party foul: I asked which kolaches they had available that morning, and I was told "chorizo and potato" which sounded amazing...they hand it over at the window and it says "soyrizo." [Good thing I wasn't allergic to soy...] Yes, I can taste the difference between the taste and texture.

Getting the drinks wrong, it happens. Bad customer-interactions, not cool. I never take an attitude with anyone in the service industry, because I know how rough it can be sometimes (unless it's insanely bad), so I always make an extra effort to be polite about any mixups, so I don't feel like I'm being irascible or unreasonable. Also, putting someone in the hospital (for a "mistake" on the soyrizo/chorizo thing) could eventually become a legal thing if it happens to the wrong person.

PLEASE work on staff training. I know Brevity absorbed a few stores with the Red Runner merger, but I'd love to go back eventually. I just can't trust that store anymore and will...

Go to 7 brew coffee off of rittiman and 410 they have the sizes the red runner had and good drinks and friendly staff and great prices. They also do cars and coffee on the last Saturday of each month which is pretty cool.

Well I'm glad they switched to the right name now everyone can know how this place has gone down since brevity took over red runner. From size changes to smaller cups and no prize change and bland flavorless coffee. I stopped going here because of my last interaction with the staff, I ordered an avalanche which was one of my to go coffees but when I got it I made the mistake of driving away before tasting it and they only put half and half and nothing else so I went back and told them what was wrong and ask for a new one and there response was "do you want me to make it extra sweet" NO make it normal where there is at least flavor. I don't...

Now I have been going here for a good year now, and each time I go, it gets better and better!! The service is great and welcoming, super sweet customer service and speedy service as well. I ordered a medium hot chocolate, a medium hot campfire, and an ice Mexican chocolate latte and my God!!!!! Yall just keep getting better and better.
