My mom ordered a omelette. The service was crappy. It took a while for the food to come out. There was nobody else in the restaurant, but me and my mom and my nieces at the time that we place the order it took up to 25 minutes to receive our food When we received our food. Some of it was OK that room wasn’t cold, but it wasn’t hot either my mother received an omelette. She was eating it found an egg showing in it when she had made a comment to the waitress about it. The waitress brought it up to the manager, and the waitress’s name was Gabriella, and when she brought it up to the manager, had the audacity to turn around and be out in the lobby, where we were and told her that they don’t use fresh eggs they use liquid egg right in front where we could hear as if he does if he was sitting there telling my mom that she was a liar and then he didn’t even come talk to us. He told the waitress just to take it off the ticket And then leave it at that because he was too busy sitting in the corner on his phone instead of doing his job it was very disrespectful. It was very rude. His adequate sucked. If you were a manager, you were to get up and you were to come apologize fix the issue and not talk back to the customer is very Rude And like I said the waitress didn’t even come by and refill our drinks. She didn’t come talk to us ask us if the meal was good if we needed anything or any of that she gave us. Our food gave us our drinks, and that was it and disappeared until the end to return the check after we had the issue and then she disappeared. She didn’t come back to the table instead of the Bus boy came over he cleaned up the table and cashed us out. That restaurant is I would not go there again. I wouldn’t even give it five stars. I would give it lower than one star the service was crappy the manager was crappy And I work in fast food or have worked in fast food so is my sister and the way that manager took care of the situation with inappropriate and it was unprofessional. You never sit there until your waitress where the customer can hear you that we don’t use fresh eggs, which is a lie because IHOP does use fresh eggs. It’s very unprofessional of that manager. He should not be holding his job so I would advise anybody not to go to the IHOP on FM 78 right across from the H-E-B unless you want...
Read moreI have been to this IHOP at different times and many months in between. To start I knew it was Easter and a Sunday. I thought it best to order using the Curbside option. My order was placed just before 10am. I was notified by email, it would be ready at 1045am and to follow the instructions regarding Curbside pickup. As I arrived, the scene was as I thought it would be. People waiting outside to get in, almost every parking spot full. I parked in Curbside pickup #3 and called. It was 1055am. The young lady that answered had to place me on hold to check on the order. After a minute, she said it was not all ready and they would need a little more time. She asked if I could wait, she would bring it as soon as it was finished. I informed her the place I was parked, the color of my car and asked again if she would bring it out. She said she would. 20 minutes later after watching others parked at Curbside pickup leaving their cars to go inside, I did the same. I had to wait another 10 minutes before I got to speak to anyone. I showed a copy of the email confirmation for the order. The girl turned around, looking through the five bags on the counter and found mine. I took the room temperature food home to my family for a late breakfast.
I will not fault the restaurant for doing the best they could on a busy Easter Sunday. I do find fault in the fact they promote a service that is pointless. Isn't Curbside Pick-up suppose to eliminate having to go into the restaurant and wait? It was 45 minutes from placing the order to instruction to pick up and then waiting an additional 45 minutes to finally have the food. Regardless of the fact it was a holiday, this has happened at least two other times I used the Curbside feature at this location. I do not want anything other than to INFORM others: If you think you will save time using Curbside at this IHOP, think again. Be prepared to wait and to go inside if you...
Read moreOnly gave 1 star because of the cleanliness appearance of the restaurant. Came in to place a to go order and not only did it take awhile to be greeted, but the 3 young chatterbox females, who seemed more interested in their own conversation than attending to the abundance of customers in front of them was more than rude it was downright disrespectful. My Autistic Son was getting antsy so I asked how long for my order, by this time I had been in the restaurant for 35 minutes, two girls behind the register, the tall one told me there is someone who checks on the orders. A gentleman waiting on his food made the comment to them that I had been waiting longer than several people who have been seated already. After they dismissed me I asked could one of you at least "GO CHECK PLEASE?" The tall one who was particularly rude told me "we all have our own assigned jobs to do", not the response I was expecting but okay. By this time the hostess went on the other side of the two "chatty kathys", and made herself gainfully employed just looking at the other 2 with disappointment. I waited another minute before responding to the rude and lazy female, "I understand everyone has their roles but you would think when a customer asks if you could please go check on their order you would do it!" My question was met by eye rolling and silence and I LEFT! I used to frequently eat at this particular restaurant once a month and have continued to have a problem with those same 2 young ladies EVERYTIME! Being there are 6 of us in my Family (4 growing Boys), we spend more than our share when we do visit. Being these young ladies continue to be employed by the Management sends a statement to their customers about where the restaurants priorities are and that statement is enough for me to understand...
