We happened to stumble into this place as a desperate last minute b-day dinner. We both ordered the Plato Tampiqueño (X2) and asked to substitute one of the two velveeta cheese enchiladas with chicken in stead, on each of our two plates. MUCH to our surprise when we got to the register, they had taken the liberty to upcharge us as if we had ordered an additional chicken fajita taco X2! Mind you, these were shredded chicken filled enchiladas. By this point, it was clear WHY no one told us about it. Even MORE clear why we had to proactively REQUEST a preview of our charges broken-down as we paid. We were first relieved and delighted to find a place serving late night food. By the time we left, we were disgusted and swearing we would NEVER be back. According to the wait staff, all of this handling was done so at the direction and instruction of the owner. We got TAKEN for an $8 upcharge for a $hit food upgrade... but it's the LAST $8 they will be getting from me! We were charged AS IF we had ordered an a ala carte chicken fajita taco ($4 additional) on each plate for simply asking to substitute the filling on one of the cheese enchiladas on each plate. The filling we GOT was shredded chicken! 😬🤦‍♂️If you DO go, proactively INSIST and ask what each item or substitute you request is priced at. Especially if they seem nonchalant or dismissive about it.Then when you get to the register, insist on a print-out and compare it to the prices on the menu for inconsistencies. This... because you will find that at every step of the way, they are nickle and diming you... sometimes (as can be seen above) flagrantly and shamelessly so. When I'm out for a leisurely dinner, the LAST thing I wanna worry about is people reaching into my pockets. It might just be easier to cook at home or definitely find ANOTHER place to eat. You've been warned!

The wait staff was nice but not forthcoming or transparent. The beans were as bland as the meat was. The salsa was little more than water and their complimentary cheese dip they normally serve with their chips was OUT/gone. They were also out also of sweet tea. Their rice portions were the skimpiest I have seen in a LONG time. RICE of all things!

No love lost here in never coming back to this place. THAT much is certain. There are too many decent choices to put up with this type of service. Needless to say it will certainly be a birthday to remember... not in a...

So I walked into the restaurant I purchased something because my girlfriend had to use the restroom and I ended up having to use the restroom to you publicize the point there was a sign that said customers only for the restrooms and I was a customer that purchased something after my girlfriend was done using the restroom I went to use the restroom about 3 to 4 minutes later someone knocked on the door about 30 seconds later he knocked on the door again I said I was using the restroom he told me I don’t know what you’re doing in there you’re taking so long when I was just trying to use The restroom and then has the audacity to say that there’s other people there that “need to use the restroom” when there was “nobody waiting” in line to use the restroom then I get out of there and I said well I’m done whoever needed to use the restroom can use the restroom now and the guy says yeah all my customers and me and I was just thinking to myself like I’m a customer to What did I do to be treated so ugly I’m a regular and eat there every day with my boss for lunch and that’s how I get treated for giving them business and just to be clear this took place on Friday, March 6 2020 around 1:40 PM and it was the guy working...

Super!! I’ve had a terrible night sleeping in airport, I was exhausted and hungry, I went to have breakfast here and I was surprised! The food was delicious, big portions, very affordable. The waiters were extremely attentive, all the girls are very friendly and all of them were checking on me often.
