It upsets me that I have to leave a one star review but when I say Iām upset, I am UPSET⦠On the 27th of May I went in to sell some clothes with an open mind thinking Iād get an offer for the stuff I took in. When you take the clothes in, you of course have to sign some papers and leave your info. The girl that helped me explained the ENTIRE process to me about I would get an text or phone call (keep an eye out for it) for an offer and it takes 3-5 business days to get an offer, then after the 3-5 it becomes store credit if you donāt reply to the offer then if you donāt reply for store credit then it gets donated. Well after the day I took it in, i waited the 3-5 WITH NO PHONE CALL OR TEXT for an offer. I called after a week of nothing, the girl that answered said they are behind and would get to my bag soon (so I left it at that) after the SECOND WEEK OF NO PHONE CALL OR TEXT FOR AN OFFER, I called a SECOND TIME AND GOT THE SAME EXCUSE (usually Iām VERY VERY understanding because I know other people are taking clothes as well) so I let it go thinking they would get to my bag because they said they had a lot of people taking it in which of course I get. Well from the second week with no phone call or text for an offer nor telling me there was no offer so I can pick up the clothes, I called for the THIRD TIME TODAY ON THE 24th of JUNE (FROM THE SECOND TIME TO NOW WITH STILL NO PHONE CALL OR TEXT MESSAGE FOR AN OFFER OR NOTIFICATION TO PICK MY CLOTHES UP) I asked if thereās any offer on my clothes or is it ready to pick up, well I found out my items got DONATED. Being they just recently moved to their new location, I couldāve been called or texted for me to go pick up my stuff because they were moving, I DID NOT EVEN GET THAT. I saved their business number for a REASON being that I was waiting for an offer like they said or to tell me to pick my clothes up, but itās almost a MONTH that i didnāt get one single phone call or text message for ANY NOTIFICATION on the clothes I took in to sell. And during the move, theyāre still able to post on their Instagram the new arrivals that they get daily or posting that theyāre moving to a new location but yet I canāt get a phone call or text to pick my clothes up or an offer from the get-go. Just think before you take your items here. Make sure you tell them to CALL OR TEXT YOU OR GO IN YOURSELF TO CHECK IF YOUR STUFF HAS BEEN GIVEN AN OFFER OR READY TO BE PICKED UP. They claimed that they did, but when I looked at jeans they has size 10 jeans in the 2x section. Other clothing types were the same, so there was no way I could shop there since I am goddess sized.
They are not handicapped accessible as it is nearly impossible to open the door and get a wheelchair through at the same time. The ramp is too narrow and when you open the door it blocks the entrance unless you are standing.
I brought in clothes expecting the usual review, separating of what the store wanted and a cash offer. I was told that it would take up to 5 business days for them to look at my clothes and make an offer. They would only pay electronically (venmo) and wouldn't give a receipt for the clothes that we were leaving. We hesitantly left the clothes and waited for a text message. We finally got it 6 days later. When I asked what they were taking and what the offer was, they refused to disclose it over the phone. (I was told by the girl at the front that this was because too many people were refusing offers over the phone so by forcing people to come down they hoped to force people to sell)
We drove over this morning to see the fate of my clothes, and was given a $14 offer for a few items. Usual thrift store offer. I brought out my venmo to get paid, and was told that the money would be transferred hopefully later today, as the front desk person didn't have the authority to pay me. They couldn't even pay me when the transaction took place.
I insisted upon a receipt and the girl at the front balked but finally relented writing something on a small piece of paper. For the record all of this could be done over email if saving paper was there concern.
They don't seem to understand basic business practices nor do they do anything to notify customers of the process for sales before they arrive. The two female staff members did not once communicate with the people shopping. They didnāt remove previous clothes left in the dressing rooms. There is only one hook for clothes in the dressing room. Not a lot of space. There are also no baskets or carts. You either have to hold all of the items youād like to buy/try on or LOSE IT. Myself and a friend told one of the female employees that we were adding clothes to a clear rack that we will be trying on. The staff members did not communicate with each other and the other employee took back ALL of the clothes I had set aside to try on. A nice stack of 30+ items - good quality, good brand names, good prices, just all gone. It took me over an hour to go through all of the isles to select these items. To come out from trying a handful of items on to it being gone was very upsetting. One female staff member started to try and remember where she put everything and the gave up. When asked what items they were, with so many pieces I set aside, I couldnāt remember them all. I left with nothing. When I was intending to purchase a large amount of pieces. Very frustrating. Unprofessional and a lack of customer service was my unfortunate experience. I can only hope they treat customers better in the future and communicate properly to ensure customers are taken care of.
