After over 4 years of patronage today they lost a customer.

My typical order is a gallon of three different flavors. Today we requested this, only to be informed that they are out of the containers. Ok, no big deal we will move on and go elsewhere. As we were starting to make our way out of the shop, the gentleman indicated he could provide the same 1gallon in three separate containers. I thought that was a great idea so I accepted the offer. We selected the flavors, a couple other items and got ready to pay. He provided the total to which I inquired about the elevated cost.

He replied with, "Well you are buying the 1 gallon in three different containers, it is more expensive".

My rebuttal, "I asked you for a gallon, you indicated that you did not have the container and provide the three containers as your solution to the problem, at which point you did not indicate there to be a cost difference".

"Well the quantity is the same, but it's in three containers, so it's more....." He waited. After a long pause he responded with, " I can just dump it back into the larger container."

My first time ordering corn in a cup from this location and it was very good hot and fresh the cheese just melted so good inside of it. We also bought Popsicles many different flavors to choose from. They even have Popsicles that are non-dairy which are nice for one of my children who has allergies to milk. This location takes cash only so we had to go to an ATM to pull cash out. Other than the slight inconvenience of having to do that this location is very nice and helpful. As a kid we used to go to the location off of Fredericksburg Road to get her Popsicles. These Popsicles are very wonderful great and refreshing especially with the heat of summer. And I like the fact that if you have a dairy allergy or just have a lactose intolerance they have Popsicles that are very delicious that you could have this is a place for the whole family to find something that they will enjoy. The lady at the counter also ended up putting some ice in our box of 40 Popsicles to help them not melt with the heat. I thought this was very helpful and it was very appreciated. I really wanted to love this place as much as many of the reviewers, but I have been spoiled by the awesome food at Raspas El Payasito. The young man in the store was very nice and quickly took my order. I ordered corn in a cup and a fruit cup. The first thing I noticed about the corn was that it's just average canned corn. It should be made with freshly roasted corn. The fruit cup contained watermelon, pineapple, cucumber, and cantaloupe. The watermelon they used was overtly ripe. The cantaloupe was hard.
