On 6/2/2020 at 10:09 AM I placed a breakfast order through their app. It said make sure you arrive before 10:30 am. So I sent someone to pick it up, and they told the person picking up, they could not fulfill the order because even though I placed it in a timely manner they did not pull it from the computer in time, and they no longer had the breakfast items available.
I called and asked why they did not fulfill my order even though it was done in time and they charged me for it. The Manager, or person that identified themselves as the person who could take care of me, I will simply call M, was very matter of fact and said my money should be refunded in 1-2 days depending on my bank.
So not only did I not get my breakfast I am out that money till whenever, but wait it gets worse. She offers to "replace" the meal with lunch items for my inconvenience. I said, alright sounds good, I get the new order together, call in to place the new order and she decides to nickel and dime the order charging me the .40 cent difference from the medium drinks to the large, and she will only cover the cost of the original order, which I was charged nearly $30, and if we are nickel and dime she only gave me $20 of "free" food, as she put it.
My experience was not what I expect of Chick-Fil-A, we order from there at least once a week, and never have we had any issues with them. I am completely disappointed in how she (M), handled the situation, how they were so rigid to their 10:30 time frame, when we ordered and were there before that mark, and if they were able to charge me and take the money from my account they should have been able to make my original order.
M appears to be more focused on .40 cents and cost difference than just make a customer happy. She was very matter of fact and not apologetic, poor response Chick-Fil-A. I hate to have to drive further to next nearest one, but this particular one on De Zavala and Vance Jackson really...
Read moreLet me begin by saying there is no such thing as the perfect establishment, but the reason for this review is the frequency the order errors keep occurring, and managements failure to correct the attention to detail.
On August 13, 2022 my family and I ordered from the Chick-Fil-A on De Zavala. The staff was friendly as they delivered our order at the drive through. We took what we assumed was our correct order and drove home. To my part I should have checked the order before leaving, but did not. Lesson learned. Once we arrived home I realized we were only given a small fraction of our order and were charged over $40 for the order.
My family and I returned to the Chick-Fil-A with the incorrect order to the establishment and I had a conversation with the manager on duty. The manager to his credit was respectful, polite, and promptly not only corrected the mistake but also added some brownies to the order due to the error on the part of the staff.
At this point some may be asking why the two star review....The reason for the low rating is because although I had the order corrected this time there have been several instances in which my family and I have ordered from this location and have not received our entire order. This error is just the straw that broke the camels back in terms of addressing the less than stellar service. Chick-Fil-A as a business is known for great and friendly service. Read moreI come here very often since its near my home, i always have had a good experience, there's a manager who i always see there, and is always very kind and attentive, but today was the first time with a friend ordering breakfast, we asked what was in the menu, i ordered a egg Biscuit only and she ordered soup, we pull up and a lady told us that they didn't have any soup, she asked if we would like anything else, so my friend ordered 2 sausage egg biscuits, after we ordered and payed, then she tells us, the soup is not served till 10:30 but it was 10:15, if she would of told us that, we would of waited, but she didn't. Then she hands us the order, and i was about to leave, but i checked my order and i was missing one biscuit, after i had told her we were missing one, all she said to me was no, there in there, after i told her there were only two items in the bag, i told her there should be 3 in total. So, then she says its going to be 3 dollars, i guess they didn't ring it up after i told her. So then she tells us to pull over, and i was upset, and i said no, i had already waited, and i moved a little so the person behind could move, then she handed me the order, very rudely, and as got home , they weren't sausages they were BACON! So after we were rushed out the order was still wrong. I'm more upset about the rudeness and i couldn't even get an apology or anything, i understand mistakes happen, but that's not the way you handle things. She was rude....
