I was so exited to try this place and unfortunately I had a horrible and upsetting experience! As soon as I walked in I noticed two employees on their break eating. And one girl at the register. A young lady with blonde hair took my fiancée and my order. We ordered mini tacos and a burro. We took our number and took a seat. I noticed people finishing and left so just me and my fiancée at the dinning area. Two ladies were now ordering , two young teenagers in line followed with an older lady right behind the teenagers. By the time everyone ordered I noticed NO One at the grill. In 15 mins the two employees who were eating get up and go to the grill and start prepping orders. I was in shock how they both were the cooks and both were at lunch during lunch hour rush. After a while I see one teenager get his order, maybe 5mins later the two ladies that were behind me get their order. I see then a burro under the “light”. I say to my fiancée wow everyone is getting their food. He pointed out look maybe that’s ours because I ordered a burro. Five more mins pass and one of the employees which her name was CLARA comes out again gives the older lady who was behind the teenagers her food. I still see the burro. I wait to see if she is now going to give us our food but no! I wait and another customer comes in. So I get up and ask how much longer for my food? I was here before everyone. She looked at my ticket and said “oh because it’s a burro and the cheese is raw and she goes on and on . Mind this she’s yelling at me and I’m just looking at her. I then say but it seems you skipped me because everyone is finishing up. She then says okay let me do your tacos before the burro is ready. She turns and looks at the burro and says oh look it just came out. I said to her: No, it has been there for a while! I saw it ! And she starts yelling loud I mean loud saying it was not true and keeps going and going. I walk to the table and my fiancé tells her “ it was there for a while.” She keeps talking faster and louder. I said okay and you keep going and going, stop ! She then stopped and said “okay fine sorry!” She walks away and starts telling her co workers that I’m said she was just walking around while my food was there and that the burro was not there … and she never stopped. The whole time I was there she kept talking about the situation very loud where everyone can hear!
I really was looking to speak to a manager or someone in charge because it was so embarrassing how she treated me and yelling. I’ve worked at restaurants and this is not right or acceptable. Clara has no manners!
I know her name because the girl who took our order was kind enough to give me her name. I wonder why? Probably is not the 1st time she does this!
Clara Es una mujer bulgar, grosera sin educacion!

Read morePoor service, overpriced, skinny mini tacos. I had great expectations but Street Taco Company disappointed. First let me say, they need a manager on-site. I stopped by around 9:30pm on a Saturday. The place was literally EMPTY, which it’s never a good sign. Two girls chatting behind the counter, ignoring me, again I was the only customer there. Some girl, Jazmine (that’s the name on my receipt) finally gets behind the register so I asked her for a menu, she doesn’t say anything, just like if I was not there. She grabs a remote control and starts messing with it… aaaah! I get it, the menu is on a screen behind the counter but the screen was black, NOT displaying the menu… hilarious!. This girl had no customer service skills whatsoever, by the way. I finally ordered the 5 mini tacos plate, she asks: “for here or to go?”, I said: “to go”, I paid, got an order number, sat on a chair. I waited and waited, nothing… I then see an order of mini tacos on the kitchen counter, guess what? That was my order! I pulled out my receipt and it reads: “Dine in”, so I approach the counter and said: “excuse me, my order is “to go” but my ticket says: “Dine in”… all 3 of the employees chatting in the kitchen. Finally Jasmine says; “yes, it’s to go”, so they take it from the kitchen counter and bag it. The bag they give me was very light… not a good sign. I live 5 min from the restaurant, by the time I open the bag, food is cold, yeah, it was sitting on the kitchen counter for more than 5 minutes before it was bagged, because the employees were not doing their job, just chatting. But not only that, there was barely any meat on the tacos… cold tortillas, cold meat, barely any cheese, just a tiny sprinkle of it and an old avocado slice with a chunk of it already black. Not the mini tacos I was expecting at all, it was very disappointing. Definitely their mini tacos plate is not worth $9.50, more like $5 at best. If you’re hungry, go somewhere else. I’m not giving them 1 star because the meat had actually good flavor, they’re just very stingy with the meat. They were more like skinny mini tacos. LOL So go somewhere else, there are many places with better service and decent food portions, or at least worth the money you spend. I don’t mind paying $10-$12 for an order of 5 mini tacos, but please make them worth the money. No wonder the place was empty on a Saturday night, despite the good menu options and the...
Read moreI was in search of a good taco restaurant on a Friday night, but this turned out to be Anglicized Mexican food. From the outside, it didn’t look promising—an empty restaurant on a Friday night. Before arriving, I planned on eating inside, but the emptiness was telling.
The vibes inside were giving Temu, Depop, and Alibaba Tumblr. Las luces fluorescentes le quita mucho al ambiente, además las sillas, etc.
I got two campechanas. For $12, I expected a good meal—even though that’s all I ordered—but the tacos were smaller than my hands, and served on a flour tortilla. My brother got the 5 mini tacos for close to $14 (without the drink), and the ratio of cheese and avocado to meat was extremely disappointing.
The flavor and look of the meat were okay, mostly dry, but it definitely reminded me of something (hint: the H-E-B next door). It’s not surprising this place is empty on a Friday night.
