Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in San Antonio

A couple of months ago I did a review which was a positive review because everything was excellent. Yesterday I went back and thar was a horrible experience. The Young cashier I believe her name was Monique or Monica was horrible I mean the service was terrible.

As usual me being a chef I always ask for my chicken to be fresh and don't mind the wait when I asked her for fresh chicken she told me I would have to wait 30 minutes. I then explained it does not take 30 minutes to fry chicken she said yes it does. I said well I believe I'm right since I am a chef and I have two culinary degrees she then just walked off and threw her hands in the air even the manager that was there noticed what happened and he politely apologized for her rudeness I'm not sure why she was so angry maybe because her lack of education and ignorance makes her mad I do not understand why people get jobs they don't like and take it out on the customer so I then did not order anything and left. I'm reaching out to her boss because I don't think she needs to have a job there with a attitude like that the lobby was crowded and everyone was frustrated and she couldn't even put food in boxes properly it was a bad bad experience yesterday. My suggestion to Monica or Monique whatever her name is is maybe go back to school and get a higher education to find a job you...

The food was very. My chicke sandwich was delicious the only thing that was horrible was the drive thru. I waited in the drive thru for 25 minutes just for my sandwich. This happened yesterday on Sunday May 15th. I drove thru the drive thru because I thought it would be quicker instead there was a truck in front of me that didn't know what they wanted then the employees inside told them if they could wait for a few minutes well those few minutes turned into 10 minutes then 10 minutes turned into 20 minutes then the guy inside said can I take your order. The drive thru is so small and narrow that I wanted to just leave but I didn't have a choice. I couldn't go in reverse and I couldn't go forward either it was horrible. When it got to my turn to order i knew what I wanted so I ordered it quickly and was only able to move up a couple of inches. Then at the window the guy didn't open the window and tell me my total instead he was just holding on to the window where you lock it and unlock it for almost a minute them he opens it and tells me my total i gave him my credit card then he gave it back and I still waited another minute before I got my sandwich. Ive honestly never been talked down to while at a restaurant. While ordering the guy was telling me to "hold on while i set up the order first!" And "excuse me but do you see anything on the menu that says 8 piece? No its only 5 or 10 peice!" Then telling me i cant order a certain way even literally any other Church's will allow you to order a 2 piece with plain white meat instead of the dark. Sorry but yes you can. Its at a higher charge but you actually CAN order that way. It felt like i was inconveniencing him by having walked in to order anything. And being told that some things weren't even in stock and saying some items weren't available despite being in the window. Should have honeslty just left then and there but I chose to remain civil and just took what ever he decided my family and I should have been grateful he granted us in the box.. Don't go here unless you enjoy being treated like absolute garbage and a bother. Id stick with the Church's on West Ave. At least there they are chill and more than happy to take your order and even say please...
