On our last visit it was absolutely horrible. We waited a very long time for the food. We were patient because it was Easter but after the time passed and people came and went, we still had not received our eggs and pancakes orders. I come often; at least once a month. We never had problems. I don't know what happened on Easter. The server was obviously new and he didn't even bring us refills as we waited. We ordered some grapes as an extra side for my daughters junior slam but he didn't even bring that out to give her something to hold her over. I tried to call a manager over to ask why they were taking so long and she stopped like 12 feet away from me with a "what do you want attitude". She did not walk over to us and expected me to shout across the room at her. Absolutely no manners and couldn't handle the pressure of her job. I myself have worked at Denny's and this is something I never share with servers or staff there but I'm telling you now. There is no way it will take a server 45 minutes to whip up a shake for us while we wait for our food. A child's shake for that matter. He just didn't want to do it but after he saw how long we waited he did bring us a shake so I will give him that. We are generous tippers. Our last young man who had trouble got a 10$ tip which was more than he earned and above 20%. But we understand. We don't get too picky and we know servers really depend on tips. We always have a strawberry shake before our meal. It has never been an issue even during a rush. There was a server who told us "I'm sorry guys but it's Easter". Which was uncalled for. We were leaving unhappy and paid for our drinks and she tried to make an excuse for the poor service. She tried to make it seem like we are the ones who can't wait which was inappropriate. Y'all need to teach your newer servers some manners and how to hold a smile and be courteous under pressure because if you can't handle it at Denny's, you won't make it at Red Lobster, Mi Tierra or The Chart House which is where the money is at should you choose to go that route. But if you want to go home with a few hundred, you're going to have to learn how to master the diner life first. That's for the servers. We will not return to this Denny's. We found another one down the way plus a Jim's is not...
Read moreLet me start by saying, if I could give this review 0 stars I would. And here’s why. When we arrived to Denny’s on the evening of 4/19/25, we checked in with our party of 8 people and asked if we could be seated together and they gladly told us “Yes, we can do that. It’ll be a 15-20 minute wait. Is that okay?” We all agreed to wait so we all sat in the waiting area. So then another large party of people comes in after us and they check in as well. Ok no big deal. So as we’re waiting patiently, we notice 45 minutes have already gone by. So we ask the lady who checked us in how much longer we would need to wait to be seated. She said another 15 minutes. So at this point some of our party start to become frustrated. Understandably so. I mean they are hungry after all and have been waiting longer than what they originally told us. So 20 minutes pass and we are in disbelief when we literally see them giving our table to the party that came in after us. We asked the lady who checked us in if that was our table that she gave away and that we were there before them. She just apologized and asked if we would like to wait another 20 minutes for 2 booths instead of the tables we originally asked for. I don’t know what the issue with this Denny’s location is but they need to get it together. They need to be retrained on customer service and hospitality. All know is I will not be coming to eat at this Denny’s until they get new management or simply just learn how to treat...
Read moreI received my birthday reward in an email and in the reward section of my Denny's app..... I called in to ask if I could come in, order it and take it home as I was going to be alone on my birthday and didn't want to eat at the restaurant by myself...... the person I spoke with said " sure just come on in and order it ..I just couldn't apply it to a delivery"..... I got to the location the next day.... got up to the counter and the person who greeted me said that I would have to eat in the restaurant in order to get the reward..... Unfortunately my error was not getting the name of the person who said it was okay...... I drove all the way across town to go to this particular Denny's thinking it was closer than it was..... I did not want to eat in the restaurant by myself I wanted to take my birthday breakfast home.....but they wouldn't allow me to do that so I went ahead and just left..... So I googled the next location for Denny's put it in and went there and they were perfectly fine with me ordering it and taking it home.....so....Unfortunately I will not be going back to this location because of that..... I mean.. egads..... it was only for one person......one meal...... I don't know WHAT it could have hurt by not just letting me take it home.....not angry, just truly disappointed... Wasted gas was more than...
