Worst service ever at Dunkin’ in San Antonio. From the moment I rolled up to the drive-thru window, I could feel the hostility radiating from at least two of the staff. It's like either their manager is a tyrant, or they’re hiring people who should never be near other humans. Desperate times, right? But seriously, avoid this place if you value a good customer experience.
I’ve been to other Dunkin’s in SA and they’ve been great. The folks at the north San Pedro location are always pleasant and cheerful. I go there almost daily. But the Blanco/Churchill store? It's now on my “never again” list. They've got issues.
The fun started right at the order station in the drive-thru. I ordered a medium hot coffee with three sugars. Simple, right? The screen shows medium hot coffee with three creams. I can't do cream; it messes with my stomach. So, I ask them to change it to no cream, three sugars. Silence. Then the order changes to two sugars, one cream. Again, I repeat, no cream, three sugars, please. The response? “I got it,” in a tone that screamed, “Don’t ask me again…”
I get to the window, get handed my coffee, and guess what? Cream. Lots of it. So, maybe a bit miffed, I say, “I asked for no cream, three sugars. Can I get one without cream? And can you take this one back? I don’t have room in my car for an extra hot drink.” The server flat-out refuses to take it back. Then they make me wait a full five minutes (yes, I was watching the clock) before giving me a coffee with no cream but like six sugars.
Oh, and the sandwiches I ordered? Wrong bread....
Read moreI enjoy the coffee to an extent. I think it's fairly decent for the price but the customer service at this particular location is always subpar. they usually never have the item I've ordered off of the mobile app and today the girl was particularly rude when switching the flavors because they were out of peppermint mocha and when I asked for a caramel cold foam instead she said "I don't know what you're talking about can you just Tell me what's in it because I have no clue what you're talking about" so I go to the app where I recently ordered one & I tell her what's in it and when I get to the window she hands me a cup. I'm honestly afraid to drink it, and closes the window. I'm still waiting for my munchkins and after a couple minutes she just hands them to me and shuts the window. no thank you, have a nice day no closing greeting nothing. and I think I'm tired of it. I actually didn't even want the coffee after our interaction at the speaker but she had already started to make it so I guess I'm stuck with it but today was definitely a final straw on this location incredibly rude every single time constantly out of items I'll just go over pay at Starbucks I'm over it. And yes the food here is awful. Not sure how they prepare the items they obviously get from a freezer that are premade but whatever reheating tactic they're using the food is bland and disgusting, somehow overcooked by the time you get it and overall...
Read moreI went through the drive thru on May 22nd to get some Ice Cream. I ordered a double scoop waffle Cone, strawberry and vanilla. I proceeded to the window to pay and I realized I misplaced my debit card. I was freaking out trying to figure out the last place I used my card. I paid with another form of payment and the girl handed me my cone. When she handed it to me I thought at first she was handing me an empty cone as I saw NO Ice Cream. I looked down inside the cone and saw a small scoop of vanilla and could tell there was something underneath it. Still freaking out about my debit card, I just left with the cone. The scoop of vanilla was about the size of a golf ball. Underneath the tiny scoop of vanilla was an even smaller scoop of CHOCOLATE. Mind you I ordered strawberry and vanilla. The total was $5 and change and if this is what BR has become, I will never go back. I've always ordered the double scoop and the cone is full with 2 big scoops of Ice Cream. I basically paid $5 for a waffle Cone and about 4 tablespoons of Ice Cream. Very very...
