Grubhub did a great job! The Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket sub is the best in Texas!! Now. My order was placed and received between 12:43pm-1:12pm. I listed the amenities within the comments section, but what I asked for was not what I got, so naturally I called and spoke with whom I thought was Christina, but she was quick to correct me that her name is Gina. Gina was informed of my order and read the comments and stated that the extra pickle was the chopped pickle. That is not what I wrote. I wrote "Extra pickles and Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ on the side." Gina stated that the chopped pickle is the extra pickle. Can anyone derive that I requested extra chopped pickle in that comment? Most likely not! As for the Sweet Baby Ray's Gina stated that she put the extra sauce in the bag, so I went to the bag and shook it around to verify, if I missed the s.o.s (sauce on the side). With negative findings. Then Gina states she "thinks" she put the s.o.s in the bag. Then Gina claims maybe it fell out of the bag during delivery and she "bagged it" herself. I then in turn stated next time I will request to have the bag stapled to prevent this from happening. Gina as a manager took zero accountability for her actions and was quick to blame anyone, but herself. According to Gina's handwriting she is perfectionist by nature, very dramatic, and things must go her way. This is probably how she believes she was promoted to manager. When in fact it is very probable that she just stuck around long enough to become manager by simply doing the job that no one wanted to do and outlasted other employees and to include some potential manipulation of other employees to make herself look good. Learn how to take responsibility for your short comings at the expense of your guests. Advise to management: Serious retraining and customer service appreciation. Remember one out of ten people, only one will say something that will inform ten, but that was in the pre-internet era. Get it right...
Read moreAmazing service. I've been going here for years and have never once had a problem with the restaurant. The service and food has always been incredible and they are willing to go the extra mile to make your order and your experience perfect. I work at home a lot due to the pandemic, and order a lot of delivery when I don't have time to cook something or go out to eat. I am always skeptical about ordering hot sandwiches with meats and condiments because usually by the time the delivery driver gets to my house, the bread is soggy. I called this Firehouse and asked if it would be possible for a cold Italian to be made since there wasn't an option like that on UberEats. The person who picked up the phone said to go ahead and place the order, and call back to confirm it, and they could make it cold for me. The norm for other restaurants is to tell customers if the option isn't on the app, then it cannot be done, but this Firehouse as said before has exceptional service. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Edit: I also completely forgot to mention the store itself. It's always very clean and the staff are as friendly as your roommate at a Friday night cocktail party. Nothing about my orders have ever been wrong, but I'm sure if there was, they would be willing to correct it in...
Read moreDecided to try Jimmy Johns for the first time today! I was highly dissatisfied. The customer service at the register from the pregnant woman was mediocre at best while I was ordering. She answered my questions as if she was annoyed and quite literally made me rethink whether I should order at all. As I sat and waited for my food, the service kept getting worse for others. Her mask wasn’t being worn right. A lady came in to order than the woman working the register was leaning on the counter looking down at her phone while the lady was waiting to order. It was disheartening to witness. Her tone was very rude, always making customers wait because she was on her phone or rudely and abruptly cutting the customers off from speaking because of little things. She also failed to acknowledge the customers that came in and were waiting when she was ACTUALLY working. At one point I witnessed her talking to a coworker (larger man with curly hair) then mid conversation another customer comes in and walks up to the register. The woman decided her conversation was more important than the customer in front of her. The food was alright, the man who made my order was very polite. Although, I definitely won’t be...
