Gong Cha San Antonio — Restaurant in San Antonio

I've frequented this location mainly bc I like the boba there, but I have to say they are really inconsistent with their drinks. I've gotten a wintermelon milk tea several times with the same sugar and ice but it never tastes the same. either i taste no wintermelon, or no sweetness, or it was perfect.

another time I went, they told me the wintermelon was out because it was seasonal. I asked "what season is it for" they said Winter. This was in the beginning of January... I told my friends about this because i thought it was funny and dumb and they were like: "i just got a wintermelon from them 2 days ago". I thought it was kind of funny but honestly just kinda shows for how it seems like there's an overall theme of inconsistency at Gongcha and i dont wanna feel like i wasted a whole $8 on a drink if it doesn't turn...

This location doesn’t know how to make drinks and the short little girl employee with a frizzy dark ponytail is rude.

*Amendment While my drinks were made incorrectly the first time due to miscommunication, when they were remade they were still wrong. The employee who made my drinks didn’t acknowledge me at all. She walked away without saying a word. Even after remaking my drinks she didn’t say anything and left them on the counter. A different male employee apologized. When I said my drinks were made wrong again and there was no creme brûlée topping, all the employees just looked at me and didn’t say anything…. So I walked out to avoid taking my frustration out on anyone. If the employees weren’t rude and know how to make drinks then how did you know what...

I went for the first time here after having a great experience at the 1604 location. I walked in no one spoke or greeted me then I noticed the order screen so I started an order. After awhile someone came over and told me everything they were out of. They were out of green tea and pearls for the day which is what I wanted. I settled for a matcha tea and asked could I pay cash. It came out to 7.58. They said they had no coins i said fine I still want it then they opened the register and said they had no singles wtf. So I had $2 and a $5 and I said we'll I have $7 but not the .58 and they were like sorry here's your money back. So they were willing to stiff me on my change but not work with me. I will not return to this store it is...
