I would like to acknowledge and give a huge thank you to Paul Cerda for helping me Saturday 10/11/14. Last month I ordered a pair of prescription eye glasses online (which was a dumb idea since they were huge and didn't fit) I waited 14 days and never received a confirmation number or email of my purchase of $190.00. I called this last week and spoke with several people from the customer service department that online referrers you to call, I spoke with several employees whom ALL told me false information! Not only did they tell me there was no sign of my order anywhere, A manager Brian (didn't give me the last name) kept insisting me that I could return my item at the optimal store. I spent my lunch on Friday in (shertz) trying to do this, Sat morning for about 1 1/2 hrs not to mention all the time I spent on the phone trying to get a True Answer about what the hell was going on! So this last Thursday I went and ordered another pair of glasses on 281 and , But in the store. I spent $250.00, or my dad did anyway. When I got home; Guess what, My package had arrived. So know I've spent 450.00 on glasses in a month. I have been given all the wrong information and waited around for 3 weeks to see if my order was or wasnt placed. All I wanted to do at this point was be able to print a stupid label to return the package back but I couldn't even do that because I never received any information about my online purchase. Long story short, After this HORRIBLE experience and my attitude toward Mr. Paul Cedra I appreciate him for going above and beyond what I was even asking for. I had a Dr. appointment in the medical center so I had to leave the store and asked him to keep in contact with me about what I needed to do to get this returned. After all the crap I went through this last week Paul did a great job and actually took HIS TIME to find out the correct procedures to do in circumstances such as mine. He immediately called me back within 15 minutes of me leaving the store. Not only did he say he had a confirmation number, A receipt, and that It would be priority shipped the next business day, He called the store off I-10 and 410- 4522 Fredricksburg Rd. with Linda G and Crystal L. and asked them to get all of this ready for me and knew I would be closer to this store than the one off Bandera. (I live in stoneoak (which I called also to see if i could return the glasses at his store and he never got back with me (Which is the man I bought my D&G glasses from); as you can see I was driving all over the place! ) Once I got to the store the ladies were extremely kind and helpful. I took it personally to the ups shipping. It is people like these you need to have on your team than some jerks who won't take the time to find out what their freaking job Entitles. And I know that online is different than in-store. But together you are all representing Target and I'm never ordering anything online and have already shared my story with plenty of people. Sorry for a big story and review but had to explain the whole thing.
I was at target yesterday thanksgiving evening and waited for close to 2 hrs to buy a phone with AT&T on a 1+1 offer and the target guys took a wait list and asked us to come back when they text us.
They texted today at 5:53 AM asking to come and they can wait only 15 mins. I kept checking the waitlist position and when i was second in the waitlist i went to the mobile area. Mobiles weren’t sold by Target directly. They use another vendor for that. They said i have to stand in line again as they informed in the morning and i didn’t come within 15 mins.
I just argued i was showing up in the list and why they didn’t remove me or intimate that i am removed from waiting list if i wasn’t there. I was under the impression that i am still on the waitlist waiting for my turn. It took me to wait another 2 hrs finally to get my turn after several interventions by the store manager talking with the tech vendor. After store manager intervention, MOBILE VENDOR agreed to take me next after current customer is done. When the customer is done, he acted as if he forgot me and called the next customer in line. I agreed graciously as i didn’t want to make the other person feel bad.
Finally when my turn came, those vendor guys took it hard on me and gave junk reasons to ensure that i get hard time in getting the deal i was looking for. Even though i am an authorized user to get upgrade and i am eligible for upgrade, they didn’t let me saying i have to be the owner of the account. When i said, open a fresh account, they said i can get new phone but i cant get an upgrade and account owner has to be available. I asked for ownership transfer and they said they cannot wait until i finish that with AT&T and i have to stand in the line where it starts and push me back further to make me stand in line again. They weren’t ready for the account owner to show up. I was ready to give my spot to someone and meanwhile my friend who is the account owner to come to target and this would have taken 10 mins. Any new line or upgrade has been taking more than 30 mins anyway.
They were just planning on pushing me hard to leave as the issue got escalated.
NEVER EVER USE THIS TARGET STORE. I dont have. 0 star to give.

Read moreSupervisor and department managers should really get on the same page regarding release of certain items that are sought after for example the Treshold Halloween Ghost mug that was released a few weeks back in seasonal Halloween section and the employees kept playing games, misinforming costumers and waiting for people to leave the store then put a few of them out. The item has been showing available (on the app) at this location for 4 days and was still not able to purchase one in the store. As well as the infamous Starbucks Halloween seasonal cups, I called several days and I asked about the release day of the Halloween Starbucks cups and I was told with precision by Starbucks-Target employees that the release date will be the 21st of September and there is no way in the universe they get released any earlier. I called two days ago and I was told the same thing about the release day. Tonight I go by and I was told that the manager of the store - Oscar … had demanded that they get put out immediately which happened yesterday am. It really makes me not want to return to this location even though I’ve been shopping here for the past 8 years, my latest experiences with this location have been very unpleasant and a waste of time.
