Pre-COVID, a group of friends and I had visited Fralo’s for an evening dinner after driving back from an out of town trip. The atmosphere was perfect, just as we remembered it and as we found a table big enough for our party we soon sat and placed our order. Shortly after I stood from our table and headed to the restroom to wash my hands before dinner had arrived. On my way there I heard a woman shouting from a distance something towards my direction that I couldn’t quite make out and assumed she must have been talking to someone else. As I exited the restroom and headed back to our table I again heard a woman’s voice shouting at my direction only she was now approaching me visibly upset and telling what I assume was her parter that I had cut in front of her in line. I was shocked to say the least and stated to the couple that when I walked up to use the restroom that there wasn’t anyone waiting in a line and also that there are various restrooms as I pointed out the multiple empty restrooms available besides the restroom I specifically used. Despite my attempt at logically reasoning with this couple who were clearly intoxicated, they continued to harass me while I journeyed back to our table. It was then that I heard the woman speaking to a manager using profanity who had just walked up about how a man had cut in front of her in line and did not apologize to her. As the woman continued to rant and unapologetically now was using racial slurs and speaking about how a man had just stole her place in line, I couldn’t help but notice how the woman’s language had become simply about race, discrimination and a sense of entitlement. As the manager finished speaking with the drunken couple he then headed to our table and asked me about the incident which I then explained to the manager exactly what had happened which was that the couple was extremely intoxicated, had been harassing me from the moment I went to the restroom and now had made racist comments towards me. I suggested to the manager that having the couple leave the establishment as they were clearly intoxicated and making the establishment look unwelcoming to customers walking up to the entrance would probably be best however, the manager seemed more concerned about making profit for the night rather than doing the right thing for the sake of the establishment. We along with other customers sat there as the manager did absolutely nothing and allowed the disgusting behavior to continue until eventually after their overdue stay the drunken couple left the establishment intoxicated and drove to their next destination wherever that may have been. To the manager that did absolutely nothing that night I say to you, what a shame you made this establishment out to be when it was so perfect to begin with and for the lack of action you failed to do as an employee and as a citizen. There’s plenty other pizza places in town we’d rather be welcomed at. Furthermore and to be quite honest, this establishment isn’t even that great! The food is mediocre at best and the sound of traffic driving by doesn’t add a subtle ambiance, it’s actually pretty loud consisting of car gasoline exhaust fumes and nuisances yelling out of...
Read moreThis review will be about my first experience at the restaurant itself. I have already eaten pizza from Fralo’s once before and considered them above average as an establishment for the one pizza I have had before. Not convenient of a drive for me so I never go. My girlfriend and I wanted to place an order so we called around 6:30 on a Friday night and being left ringing for three and a half minutes we realized we could order online. We ordered one app and two pizzas. Paid online with an estimated wait time of 50 minutes. It works for us - we get to Fralo’s and the first impression I get is disorganized chaos. From the parking, to the gravel play kid area, to servers rushing out of doors flinging open and hitting the same wooden spot. I see children running around completely haphazardly thinking it’s a party. Entering the main area you walk into a what immediately makes you think you dropped acid and you’re now in a dive bar and at the whim of the bartender and patrons nearby. Standing in line for several minutes before noticing the man in front of us is instead just on his phone and not waiting at all. We get to finally speak with the bartender and she somehow cannot find our order and tells us it’s gotta be another name. I guess we forgot our own names? They find this one ticket and I get this gut feeling the pizza has not been started at all. Her and I try to move out of the constant wave of servers running back in forth between doors like it’s a scooby doo montage. I pan over and see two pizzas that look suspiciously like the pizzas we order that are just now being put into the oven. Why did I order online? We waited 15 minutes. After what was an hour and ten minute wait from online order to pick up. Both pizza seemed lukewarm and the app we ordered mozzarella sticks were soggy. I’m incredibly disappointed in the entire experience and one experience I won’t...
Read moreI would NOT recommend this restaurant. The Service was horrible. It took a long while for a waiter to acknowledge our table and when he finally did, he took our dink order. I asked for a bottle of Austin Hope. It took another long while for him come back and he said he was out of that particular wine. I then asked the waiter, if I could have the bottle right above it on the menu for the price of bottle I originally wanted since he was out of it. It was a few dollars more. He said he could not do that. I asked “could you ask the manager?” He said again, we can enter that in the system that way. I then asked could I speak to the manager? He took a long while again, but then came back with an opened bottle of Austin Hope. The cork was pulled through the foil. You do not open a bottle this way. 1) he did not tell me he had it; 2) he did not open the bottle in front of me; 3) he did not cut the foil off before uncorking. I asked the waiter how am I to know if this bottle was the real deal? He said he had the cork at the bar. What does having the cork prove? The bottle could have been taken out of the trash from the day before and filled with some other wine. I had a taste it and it did not taste like Austin Hope. I just had a bottle at home the day before. I do not know you and you do not know me. Would you appreciate this, if I told you I was out of a bottle, but then one miraculously appeared? Would you believe me if I did this after all that had occurred prior? Mind you, the manager never came to my table. My five friends along with my wife were there because of me, for my birthday. It was my friends’ first and last time at this restaurant. My wife and I will never be back. The guy waiting on our table should not...
