I've been a long time fan of Gong Cha but have never really had a problem, until today. I ordered a oolong milk tea with "no ice" (on the left) and a black milk tea with "light ice" (on the right). These are the drinks that they made. I saw how the cup is literally 20% empty and asked one of the employees if there is a reason why the cup is not filled, and she said back to me, not very nicely "We make our drinks based on ratio and you said no ice".
First of all... I ordered this $7 oolong milk tea off of the menu, NOT oolong milk tea+ ice. No where does it say that your drink comes default with ice. If customizing my drink is an option like your menu offered, why am I getting 20% less product for doing so? Is this the way your store advertises that when a drink is ordered, I don't get 100% of what I'm paying for?
When I took the second photo, the ice in the black milk tea has already melted, and it looks like the cup is full. If you guys make drinks based on some ratio, do you account for the ice that's going to melt and dilute the flavor? If so, why didn't you just add water to my drink so I can have the same ratio? At least I won't walk away with a 20% empty cup that I paid $7 for.
I've been to a few different Gong Cha locations and this has never been a problem, at least not to this degree. I understand not filling the cup up to avoid spilling, account for easier sealing... but this is ridiculous. Just look...
Read moreWish you can rate no stars or bad experience because this visit was so sour but I canât so. First off Iâm a huge boba tea person and gong cha has been my go to for many years now (guilty pleasure strawberry milk tea). Sadly It seems the customer service just lacks now. I stepped in Today at Culebra commons location and Christian was working, when placing my order like Iâve placed it many other times at both this and bandera location for light ice he proceeds to tell me we canât adjust the ice level (like what? What if I donât like ice period? Youâre telling me I canât order my drink with no ice??) Then I ask for light sweet on my other drink, he replies with an almost unpleasant response we donât do light sweet we do 50% 30% or 0%. I drive here past my home almost on a weekly basis from work just to have my sweet treat. In addition just a few minutes before I was balling my eyes out at my babyâs 4 month check up getting her shots, this was where I chose to come here for a light pick me up! The utter lack of hospitality made me feel unwarm, unwelcome and made me feel as if it were just an obligation in taking my order. Whereâs the pleasant hospitality in this place as paying customers gong cha? You should want to make us feel warm, welcome and valued as a customer. Gong cha you need to do better, very disappointed this has ruined the...
Read moreAs an avid tea lover, I have tried numerous brands and flavors, yet I must say that Gong Cha's Green tea deserves a 5-star rating beyond any doubt. Gong Cha's Green Tea is an absolute delight for tea lovers like me. The aroma of the tea is refreshing, invigorating, and very soothing at the same time.
What sets Gong Cha aside from the other tea brands is their sheer dedication to the quality of the ingredients. Each cup of Green Tea is brewed with a perfect balance of green tea leaves, blending just the right amount of sweetness to make it an exceptional treat to the taste buds.
Their brewing technique is another reason why I would recommend Gong Cha's Green Tea. It is evident that the team behind Gong Cha has genuinely mastered the art of tea brewing to perfection, laced with their precision and passion, making it an overall amazing experience for their customers.
The ambiance, service, and atmosphere at Gong Cha are also worth applauding, making it a perfect place....
