Why I love this IHOP particularly, well to begin we showed up at 1:30 am and there was a lady sitting people, bussing tables, taking orders and waiting tables. Wait! Did you get it?! Just one lady doing everything, plus the cook of course. Now, the best part is that she never lost her cool. She stayed calm and efficient. She served all the tables and kept the place nice and clean. It was amazing seeing her work. She was every employer dream employee. Just my family was a party of 5 and there were other tables being helped. We ordered breakfasts and food was delicious. I never got a chance to check the restrooms, but the restaurant was pretty cleaned. I even took photos, just in case people think I am not been honest. I really hope that lady gets a salary raise. She deserves it. Good job. We ate there in September 11 @ 1:30 am. Yes, we left a good tip, in case someone was wondering :-)

I guess it's a recurring theme, short staffed restaurants. The hostess, who was also our waitress, was also busing tables and sweeping up the floor while also doing her best to keep all of her tables happy. The restaurant itself seems old and dirty and cramped. I'm sure for servicing it seems like a great idea to s I t everyone in the same section, but with multiple large parties, seating everyone in the back room didn't feel cozy. Things took a bit longer than usual, but we were patient. Food was hit n miss. I liked my grilled chicken pepper jack chile sandwich, but my wife's brunch burger patty was dry and her egg overcooked- no runny yolk. Pancakes looked terrific but chicken strips dry and dark. We probably wont be coming back here, but it seemed like a convenient choice w kids after visiting The Witte Museum. Don't make our mistake and keep walking a little further down to Jim's. 👉

Eva was prompt and courteous. My coffee was the standard for restaurant coffee, no demerits there. The OJ was about as tasty as it could have been. The Colorado Omelet was delicious, although I never use the salaa--i combine the tobasco and the Cholula. I feel the protein in me as I'm limping heavy stuff in the last half of the day. I wanted the hashbrowns nesting under the omelet, but it worked out just the same--it all goes down the same hole. I heard a neighbor ask for pancakes and I'm thinking pancakes now, so I stop her and add that to my order. I didn't realize that OJ had the bidenflation egg pricing, everything came out to just under $34. If you're on a budget, stay with the small specials. Was it good? It was absolutely glorious.

Went to this establishment with a party of 10. We were told by the hostess that we would be seated in about 10 minutes so we all decided to stay, after about 30 minutes an numerous other people being seated about 6 people from our party decided to go elsewhere. Myself and 3 others decided to stay, big mistake. We were seated after about 5 minutes, our waiter tended to us with ok service. After we waited for our food which was warm and seemed good we all began to eat.. while I was eating my food I noticed a hair in my food, it looked like a nose hair to me and others at the table. I called the waiter over and he also saw the hair and said he would send the manager over to us, after about 10 minutes of waiting for the manager he finally came out to speak to me and looked really dirty. I explained to him what I had found in my food and he said it was physically impossible to have a nose hair in my food because nose hair doesn't just fall out, ok I guess he went to med school before managing IHOP, anyways after he explained this to me he asked me if I wanted more food I explained to him that I would not be eating anything else from there and said how about comping my meal and he said well I had already eaten alot of it so apparently saying I just wanted a free meal which I was not looking for but figured I still had half my meal left and not going to eat it so I was not going to pay for it. He argued with me as he was walking away where other customers could hear over a 10 dollar meal, which was very unprofessional. I will never eat here again and will make sure to let everyone I know about this situation. The manager that worked on 1/24 at about 4am was a horrible manager and should not be in food service. Very bad customer service. They did although comp the meal for me but not without putting up a fight for that 10 dollar meal, but putting up a fight for the hair in my food and being very unprofessional they have lost a customer for life not including the countless people I let know of...

Very unpleasant experience eating here. Upon sitting at our table, the waitress "T" Tashia or Tania continuously said "I'll be right with you" while running (literally) past us each time. Gratefully, another server noticed our long wait so she took our drink orders. Now to order our meals we were met with the same girl T stating she'll "be right with us"... After yet another long wait the same server who took our drinks took our meal orders. To which she brought them out when ready and the girl T just stood by her side holding nothing. So I just kept focus on the server who was serving us when asked if we needed anything else. I do believe this was T's section but she didn't have many tables to serve yet was running wild and couldn't keep up with her tables. Her brain seemed to be going 100 mph while she wasn't doing anything productive physically. Not only that, once we began eating, she continuously asked us if everything was okay to which I wouldn't even answer her at this point just stared at her to leave us alone. She was very loud would be running down the aisle while yelling across over us to opposite side. It was very inappropriate. We drove to this location in hopes for great service. The food was good as usual. I just wished she didn't ruin our peace while eating. Everyone around was just looking at her odd because of how weird she acted. We never received our ticket so we stood waiting at register. Low and behold T had our ticket even though she didn't take our order. The tip for her, would be to be more considerate, and attentive. Her customer service was horrible to say the least. However, we were grateful for the other woman who actually served us and gratitude was given as deserved. As per cleanliness ..well, our tabletop was filthy upon being seated, when asked for a towel to wipe down the asian man came and wiped with a dry paper towel and said okay? Seats on some booths torn. Crayon on walls. Dirty. Not one refill on our drinks. Will not be returning...

IHOP is usually a go to restaurant for my family, we were in San Antonio for spring break vacation and decided to eat at IHOP on our way home. I am only giving this place 3 stars because of the food; the service was horrible. I usually take the surveys on the receipt, but was not given one with a survey; that's why I decided to review it here. There weren't many people there so we figured we could be out of there in less than an hour and start our 8 and half hour drive home. Usually, when we go into an IHOP, our drink orders are taken within 5 minutes, not this time. The hostess, who sat us, walked by and asked if we had been helped yet after about 10 minutes of waiting; we said no and she said she would get someone to help us. After another 10 minutes, a group was seated at the table next to us and their waitress actually followed them in and took their drink orders. We asked her if she was our waitress and she said no. We explained to her that we had been waiting for almost 20 minutes and we hadn't even been able to put our drink orders in. She said okay and turned around and the hostess that seated us was there and she told her (which we had already done almost 10 minutes before). The hostess looked angry and she came to our table and she took our drink orders, we told her we would also like to put in our food order since we had been waiting so long; she looked even more frustrated, but took our order. Then, the waitress who who was waiting the table next to us brought our drinks about 10 - 15 minutes later. So, 20 minutes before we could even put in our drink orders, 15 minutes before we got our drinks, and another 30 minutes before we got our food. We spent almost 2 hours there altogether, very disappointed in...
