Jack in the Box — Restaurant in San Antonio

Sadly, I have to say that I am giving this place at Callaghan and Culebra zero stars which is beyond dislike. Google says I can give a minimum of one star. But this place does not deserve that one star! I've been coming to this place and every single time I've hoped to get a good experience. The fact is that I want to give fast food places a second and third chances at getting my orders right. The problem is when I get my orders wrong every time, it becomes a pattern of bad service. I truly had enough today. I clearly ordered two number four combos with Coca Cola. My wife and I were hungry. The line was fast no problem with that. I arrived at my house just 2 blocks away and the two Burgers did not have cheese, meat was cold, fries were hard and cold they had 2 tiny piece of lettuce each. I was like...really? I couldn't believe it. Then I went to try the Cokes and what I got was 2 sweet teas! If I was into teas I wouldn't mind. But I don't like tea! Before leaving the window I had to ask for ketchup, when ketchup should be a given when you order Burger and fries, correct? Or least offer to the customer if he/she wants some. So sorry but whoever is the manager at this place needs to go back to training, so he can at least know what his employees are doing; And the owners need to take a closer look as to why so many unsatisfied customers. If you ask me to reach out to you for feedback, I won't. I am telling you RIGHT NOW you have a problem at this place. Take this feedback seriously and fix the problem; Go to this place as mystery shopper and see what type of service we are getting at your restaurant. I will never go back to this place and will not recommend to anyone. Jack In the Box is a place I love but you are not treating your customers with dignity...

This particular Jack in the Box is located close to Lackland AIR Force Base, ON Military DR. Very close to my hero's street's namesake...CLETO RODRIGUEZ. CLETO WAS SENATOR FRANK TERESA'S AIDE AND THEY PUT TODAY'S POLITICIAN'S TO SHAME! THIS Jack in the Box puts the Cross Roads Area to shame. TO walk in and hear laughter, customers CHEERFULLY greeted instead of ABSOLUTELY indifferently IGNORED was refreshing. I HAVE NEVER found either the front or bathroom DIRTY. THE STAFF gets the order right the first time PLUS they are skilled in suggestive selling. That can be tricky. I appreciate it BECAUSE I worked RETAIL. I hope the owner keeps in mind that this location is frequented by military retirees...who CAN BE overly DEMANDING, HYPER critical and extremely rude to this STAFF. They just keep plugging along and were very helpful to me. I am JUSTIFIED in REPORTING the obnoxious behavior of military retirees BECAUSE I am a former spouse and have noted the higher the rank earned...the more ENTITLEMENT ISSUES are demonstrated. If you want beck 'n' call service...go pay for an expensive restaurant! IF YOU want delicious fast food cooked to order...with a smile and pleasant conversation..bring in your awesome coupons to the Lackland area Jack...

I always come to this location because the staff is always quite kind & courteous despite the rude people that sometimes beep constantly, especially late at night when they have about 5-7 cars in line the drive thru yet only ever see maybe 2-3 max employees working?! It's clear this location is understaffed, though the customer service has consistently been on par with no complaints thus far. I have waited for my food in the designated pull-up areas on occasion AND don't mind a bit. My food is always fresh & hot, so it's worth a 2-5 minute wait...and if people are upset about a literal short delay, then why do they come back? This place is off the hook, bustling & busy most days & evenings with 2 max employees a majority of the time so they must be doing something right if all people can complain about is that there is a slight wait...maybe some of the whiny customers should take up a job here cuz' they pay well, the food is always hot & fresh & they'd prolly get a discounted or free meal on their shifts AND it would improve the delays in the drive-through?!
