Disgusting and after reading the other views and what I had on my plate this place should definitely be flagged by the health department and shut down! First of off, server speaks no English. Menu online does not match the menu they hand you at all. The chips were stale. My little boy had the chicken nuggets and fries the fries were cold and the Nuggets had a kinda weird taste. I ordered a chicken fajita and instead I got about a teaspoon of guacamole on the plate with some kind of shredded romaine lettuce with big strings of it not properly even cut as I've worked in the back of the house before and there were no Peppers or anything it was just like two onions. Rice beans and corn tortillas. My food was barely warm and it was super small I had asked for a bowl of avocados and they literally brought me out of bowl of rotten avocados. I showed her and asked her if they had fresh avocado and she shook her head know at me I told her I'm not paying for that and she took the bowl away. Initially she forgot to give us straws with our drink and never came back to fill up anything in fact we had to hunt her down just to order. Holy cow. Yuk! I still tipped $2 on my card on top of the $18. I left hungry however kind of without an appetite after how horrible their food tasted looked and just everything...

I normally forget to write reviews but I absolutely could not forget on this one. I had gotten a Groupon to take my son out for his birthday, money is tighter than tight, so I needed something close by and affordable. I wasn’t expecting great anything. But my mind was blown by everything with our experience. Even my 16 yr old son said it was the best restaurant he’s ever been to. The woman who greeted us when we walked in was extremely kind and patient as my boys decided where to sit and had the most welcoming smile. My boys picked a spot near the back and our server was the kindest and friendliest server I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The salsa and chips were fantastic. The salsa had just the right spice and texture. The food was phenomenal. I had a gordita, my son a torta. Everything was so delicious and fresh. Even the French fries my son got with his torta I had to order my own once they came out. Not many places make their own fries. These were straight up cut and fried in the back like my mama used to make when I was little. The desserts were also amazing. Fresh, delicious affordable food, even without the Groupon it would’ve been affordable, with the best staff in a clean environment is hard to come by. Definitely will be...

We went to this restaurant with a Groupon coupon. When we were seated we told the hostess we had a group on that we are going to use for our meal, at that point she suggested that we have the specials for lunch as it included tea and was a much better deal. We thoughts that it sounds like a good idea and reminded her that we had a Groupon she said no problem. When we went to pay we were told we could not use the coupon on the lunch special we had to pay full price and would have to pay additionally for the tea which even with using their Groupon took our meal above $30 out of pocket. When we explained that the server said we could use the Groupon all they could say was well she was wrong too bad I don't recommend this place we redeemed our Groupon paid the extra money and left I don't plan to ever return there again and I don't recommend it to anyone the food was okay but nothing exceptional portions were small for the price and the service was mediocre even though there's only one other table occupied while we were there our server kept disappearing and sitting at another table looking at her phone. If I could give this place negative...

I found this place while having my vehicle repaired at Hernandez Auto nearby. They have 3 specials on the board when you come in. I tried the Texas Plate. Two cheese enchiladas with beans and rice, 2 tortillas. Very tasty. The free chips and hot sauce taste a little bland but if you are unaccustomed to spicy foods, it is perfect. To me it's a little like Ragu and belongs on some spaghetti. The staff are VERY helpful, friendly and attentive. While they have no vegetarian items, they will make any custom meal you require. Cocos has been open in this location for over 20 years.

I love tacos! I travel throughout San Antonio and I have to say the the tacos from Los Cocos were good! I usually order 2 tacos and I judge based on what I see and feel. For example whether or not the resturant gives you a whole slice of bacon or bacon bits!? I prefer whole slice. Or whether or not the potatoes are boiled or fried? I prefer fried personally... - The tortillas are slightly thick and taste amazing - the papas from here are slightly mushy and not fried The chorizo con egg was not greasy... - check out my photos and tell me what u think...

My Partner and I have been coming here for over 8 years. In our experience, the staff has always been nice and the service quick. To date, we haven't had any bad vibes yet. We've tried most things on the menu and it's all good. Favorites are tacos a la Mexicana, Mole, carnitas etc. I like their mangonadas and fruit cups even though it's not my favorite place to get them. I also enjoy an occasional paleta. We'll keep coming back because the employees are nice, the prices are reasonable and portions are good.
