Tequilas Tejano Bar & Dance Club — Restaurant in San Antonio

Tequilas is a great bar and lounge that My wife and I don’t mind driving 30 minutes from our house to go to ,it’s well worth it.Drinks are served ice cold and great prices .There’s a bartender not sure his name but he is always fast to attend us,he has a great attitude as well .I highly recommend the margaritas there are pack with a lot of flavor .Dj Taz is a must stop in and see he will differently get you off your feet .Music is a mix from tejano , country, old school freestyle to late 80 and early 90 ,great selection of music Dj Taz plays . Dance floor has good lighting, and plenty of room to dance .Tequilas overall experience is a place San Antonio nightlife is definitely missing out on .Crowd is not rowdy also. My wife and have been to other bar’s and been disappointed by having rude staff no where to sit ,and dance floor extremely small. I saw about the tipping and I would make a police report because tipping is not part of the service and if a person chooses not to tip then they don't have to. Maybe you should hire bartenders that don't rely on tips. I'm sure that if TABC is notified along with SAPD this owner will fix this problem. Keep your receipt or if not your billing from your bank and of course when they are questioned about this they will have to show proof from the receipt you signed. PS I am law enforcement and this will definitely draw attention if you take it to the Police and also TABC. Plus also look at the permits they have displayed at the bar and look for the phone number to report the business for these bad business practices. I was very upset by the fact that we drove 30 minutes to my friends birthday party to this place that says sports bar and the security that looks like he rolled out of bed in cargo shorts with a disgusting grill on His teeth , tells my husband you can’t come in dressed like that ..
