I had a very detailed review written, switched apps to check my receipt for times and came back and the whole thing was gone. That was the second occurrence and I had written a great review that I now do not have time to try and rewrite. It's a shame because 2 stars would warrant an account of the experience. I tried contacting the store via telephone during my visit only to get a busy signal each time. With over 13 years in the food service industry myself, I notice why or how the issues are happening and have ways to improve to eliminate the bad eating this location gets time and time again. My experience today went bad because there was a lack of communication between the associate and our party. 9:55am Drive Thru with no cars before or after usthe entire visit. Got our food at 10:14am. From payment at 9:59am until we got that food the drive thru window stayed opened and we sat.. No explanation as to what the delay in service was all about. No apologies. No communication, not even a glance, until 10:14. I happened to be inside at that point. I never got the chance to speak to the woman working because she was busy working 4 positions at once and handling money followed by food with no hand washes. It was just all around bad. Read moreOne of the items in my mobile order was not available and the girl working was very rude when I asked for a refund for that item, said she couldn't do it, acted like I was a jerk for even asking, eventually called her manager who said I would have to come back the next day, and then when I said I couldn't because I lived 65 miles away and wouldn't be back for several days, they decided they could process the refund. They took my credit card and did something with it, but the refund has still not posted - but the charge had posted immediately. The girl was very rude about the whole thing. There was a guy working as well - he was at least courteous and seemed embarrassed when the girl called her manager - where I could clearly hear her - and said "This guy is here and he's wigging out because he ordered a shake on the mobile app and I don't have any ice cream and he wants a refund but I don't know how to do that." I was far from wigging out - I never raised my voice - but I did say, "Well, I paid for a product - either I need to receive the product or be reimbursed the amount I paid for it." And she called that calm, logical statement "wigging out." After all of that I still had to wait nearly 15 minutes for the rest of my order on top of everything else. What a horrible example of...
Read moreI'll leave an edit at the top: I never had an issue with the employees here, but they had one guy with long hair who was pretty outstanding. I haven't been to this location in 6 months, but its definitely improved since my first post. It has been faster or at least on par with the other "Jack's".
I have never waited less than 15 minutes at this place, and I've been the only car a few times. I come here because it's a straight shot, but it would honestly be quicker driving an extra 7 minutes to the 2nd nearest jack in the box then coming here.
They are constantly out of dips and drinks, and I've had undercooked food from them twice ( bacon each time so it's not too bad) and never order the teriyaki bowl from this place. The meat is bad, and I ordered it on 4 different occasions hoping it would be a one time thing. Along with the meat, the rice has a consistency of soup. They've also had a really poor rate of which they get my order right compared to other places.
The one thing this place does get right, is that the staff is nice. I've never had any issues with them and it's the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. I constantly see them running around trying to get orders done. So maybe it's an issue of manning that...
