First of all, I am shocked with the quality of service outside of their working environment, especially on what standards they go by to signify a Whataburger employee. On 8/14/24, I stopped to eat at this whataburger and arrived there right by the time their lobby was going to close. I asked if I would be a bother and that I only wanted to eat in peace and would not make a mess and clean the area after. The employee said not to worry. I received my meal and ate quickly then cleaned the area as I said I would. As I was about to leave and proceeded to turn my truck on, it didn't. The battery had been giving me trouble, and so I was stranded for about 3 to 4 hours waiting to get a jump start because no employee at that Whataburger wanted to give me a jump start. The manager, Seth, said that the truck was not his. I pleaded with them to please help me out that I only needed a quick jump start, but no was every employee's answer. I was in disbelief how a restaurant that bases itself on providing exceptional customer service and is a Texas tradition, and they can't even provide a simple jump start. I walked up to another person inside their car while it was running, and they said they couldn't give me a jump start because their car didn't work. I asked them again just to be sure I had heard correctly, you can't because the car doesn't work ok, thank you, I understand. Keep in mind the car was running. Unbelievable. I literally was in disbelief how some people can just turn their head away from providing simple assistance at the cost of nothing that can mean and make a big difference to someone....
Read moreWent and picked up my food from curbside. (I just got off working a 10 hr shift). Went home and realized they forgot my wife’s orange juice, my jalapeño and the coke I got was diet instead of regular. When I called the restaurant twice it rang for over two minutes without anyone answering. Horrible service. Every other time I get food they always seem to forget something and then when I call I can never get someone to answer the phone. Finally after calling 4 times the manager Eric answers. Doesn’t seem sympathetic at all. When I go thru the drive thru he acts like he just don’t talk to me 10 minutes ago. Gives me my missing items. No thank you no sorry no nothing. Poor management and customer service. Do better on your customer service smh and get better management who actually care about their customers and their job. My wife used to work for whataburger as a team leader and never treated her customers that way. Wish all management was like her. Sadly it...
