I used to love this place, I still think the food is pretty good. But the service is the worst I have ever experienced.

Okay, so it starts with my fiance and our roommates walking in after traveling quite a ways to get there. The waitress who looks to he about 18 says, without a smile or happy tone, "Welcome". Alright. That's fine. Well we don't get any notion that we will be seated or to seat ourselves, so we find a good table and settle in.

Now, we are the only other group of people there. It is around 6pm on a Tuesday and not busy at all. Our waitress comes out with chips (no salsa) and our menus. She asks if we would like anything to drink and we order 2 horchatas and 2 sweet teas. We are all young adults so we are predisposed to snooty waiters because of our age so ordering only water begs for terrible service. She says nothing and walks away. I call to her a polite thank you, wondering if that would make her aware of her rudeness.

At this point we can tell something is off. She returns roughly 3 minutes later with two kinds of salsa, which I thought was excellent, and our drinks shortly after. She then says "Do you need some time?" and I quickly order for myself and my fiance. We requested that one of the tacos be brought out after my fiance had finished his first, so it would not get cold. She stops and draws out a long uuuumm before saying that she could ask the cook. I am not sure why this would be a problem. With that she leaves us to the chips and salsa.

On a good note, the horchata is lovely and sweet with what I am assuming is free refills although I did not receive an itemized receipt.

Okay, so let's talk about the food. It came out very quickly and looked delicious, except for the fact that my fiance's order is completey wrong. They brought both of his tacos out at the same time and his first one had no cheese, which we had specifically asked for. When she comes back we tell her the situation and immediately get hit with blatant annoyance. She rolls her eyes and takes both tacos away. By the time he gets the first taco back the rest of us are already almost done. We can tell it is the same taco because he had taken a bite out of it. Now I have worked in restaurants for 6 years now and I know health code. Absolutely no food is to be returned and touched by the cook if the guest has eaten from the plate. And why would it take 10 minutes to put cheese on a taco? I had also asked for more salsa of both kinds, to which I got an eye roll. She brought me only one kind. Throughout eating I had found many small, black hairs on my plate. I am currently blonde btw. I am not one to make a fuss about a hair and even though I still did not mention it, I found multiple hairs and it was very disgusting.

Okay, skip forward to where my fiance was half way done with his food when she brings us his old taco from 30 minutes ago. It has been sitting under a warmer, the cheese was solid and the soft tortilla had gone a crisp, powdery texture. He told her that he did not want it and wanted to speak to the manager about his experience. The waitress looked a bit freaked out and rushed over to the head server. She came back and told us we did not have to pay for a taco and that there wasn't a manager to speak to. You've gotta be kidding. No manager?

So we are leaving now and my fiance drops a dollar on the table which I thought was fitting. Tips reflect your service. We had gotten some tacos to go to which I had been given a 0.5 oz cup of salsa. I then asked for at least two more because we had ordered two tacos to go. She told me no because they only give out one an order. So then I asked if I could take with me what was left on the table and she told me she would charge me for it if I wanted it. At this point I am really wondering who these people think they are. Penny pinching over salsa after they gave terrible service.

Don't come here if you have the slightest complicated order, or if...

I ordered 1 bean and cheese, 1 chilaquiles w/beans, 1 carne ranchera, 1 papa ranchera with beans. Instead Brian placed the ordrer for 2 carnes guisada and 2 bean and cheese with 8 flour tortillas wrapped in dirty Aluminum foil (even after he did a read back).....WTHell BRIAN!!! Your TIP GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR A$&!! ADDEDUM: I returned to Las Salsas this past week to see if the restaruant would make this matter right. I walked in and the waitress with the chopping Engish and black hair right away said, "I thought you were not coming anymore" as she is taking someone else's order. There is a lack of professionalism and courtesy at Las Salsas. Such a shame since the food is good and convienent. She was also overheard by myself as she was talking out loud if I were to be served. Thank you Abdael for taking the time to hear my side of the story but I feel the damaged has been done. I will no longer go there anymore :-( .... There are OTHER and BETTER restaurants out here in SA. I am both a front line worker (who works the night shift at a local surrounding hospital) and a Desert Storm Veteran. At times when I place the night order is because that's my only meal of the day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) Las Salsas has been now disrespectful to a frontline employee and a veteran. I hope LAS SALSAS can one day get it together and remember: You never whose going to come through your front doors so be courteous...

I used to love coming to this restaurant for years but this place had gone down the drain. When I first pull up to the place there is a dead rat in the parking lot and the table that I sat at had dead flies on the window ledges. The waitress brings over my drinks and she grabs my glass from the rim and sets it down clearly cross contaminating my glass with her dirty hands and then hands me a glass that is cracked. So instead of the manager being more appreciated at the fact of me bringing this to his attention he gets mad and yells at me from the counter to my table. Then to make things worst my fiance found a hair in her food. The manager still made me pay for it. These employees don't were gloves and don't speak English very well. This is the worst experience I have ever had here so I will not be returning to this dump. Also the manager has no customer services training at all what kind of a manager yells at his customer's and when I told him you can't talk to your customers like this all he says is ok. I think this restaurant spends to much time talking among themselves than actually doing their job and cleaning up the...

Been a customer for years here. Including back when it was open 24 hrs > that's how long I've been coming . With that , I also know 2015 pays them to use their parking lot after they close because they have a whole sign on their door stating that. I even have a photo! Parked there, walk outside after about 45 and it's gone. Got towed for 260.00 When I go to dispute it they say I have to tall to the owner Well the owner never seems to be around when I call, staff won't give me his information nor take mine. It's been a month trying to catch him on-site but as a busy small business owner myself I can't spend e very day all day trying to catch him Very unprofessional and sad he's not willing to at least take a meeting with a long time patron. I miss this place and the staff os always amazing but I refuse to support a no show hypocrite of a business owner. My original review was 5 stars across the board but just not hitting the par , I just hope he treats his staff well

I ordered a bean and cheese, cheese only quesadilla, and a beef fajita quesadilla, and initially they brought me a quesadilla plate, a beef fajita plate, and no bean and cheese AFTER the waitress asked if they were all tacos. When they brought me what is pictured, I was expecting white cheese not yellow cheese and the fajita had no cheese so I had to ask for extra cheese. Also the beans in the bean and cheese were bitter. Extremely disappointed, hope it gets better.

Came here for lunch with the Boss. Had not been here in quite some time but it didn't disappoint. The special that day was Gorditas Plate. I chose beef. From the picture you can see it was well presented and it tasted as good as it looked. Will definitely be stopping by way more often. You might find it a little difficult to find parking but that's because this place gets packed. That should tell you a whole lot about this establishment.
