My husband and I we’re passing by and saw this restaurant and saw a lot of people going in so we decided to try it. We live by Houston so when we are in San Antonio we are always looking for a place where they sell delicious carne guisada. We stopped to try this place out. We noticed the food everyone was getting around us looked so good.We noticed they had so many options in the menu.We decided to get a plate that had a option of everything. I had plate that had enchiladas and carne guisada and I added a puffy taco. My husband had a plate of carne guisada with a taco of barbecoa. Our plates came with homemade tortillas, they were nice and fluffy, very delicious. Customer service was on point.Very nice people and always checking on there customers. Our food was hot and delicious, carne guisada was amazing.Never thought this place would be that good. The prices are cheap also, you can’t find prices like...

My husband and I were looking for an authentic “hole in the wall” Mexican restaurant, and we definitely found it! They were closing at 2 PM on Sunday, and we arrived about 18 minutes before closing. Despite that, they welcomed us warmly — no bad looks or rushed service at all. The atmosphere felt just like a restaurant in Mexico.

I ordered the cheese enchiladas plate, and my husband got the barbacoa tacos with all the fixings. The enchiladas came out hot and fresh, and the tortillas for the tacos were homemade — so good! Sadly, they were out of horchata since it was so close to closing, but we grabbed some Jarritos instead.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the prices were unbeatable! If we had gone to a bigger, fancier Mexican restaurant, it would’ve cost three times as much. We spent less than $20 (excluding tip), which was a steal for such great food and service....

If you have never heard of this lil hole in the wall or if you are on the westside and want to grab a quick bite then I'd like to recommend Linda's on Guadalupe St. We have been going for many, many years. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious while the service is always great! Parking is in front of the restaurant, or across the street, or in the parking lot in the back. You are welcomed in once you walk in and you seat yourself at any one of the open area tables and handed a paper menu. On this day, we ordered: 2 bean and cheese tacos 1 weiner and egg taco 1 ham and egg taco 1 potato, egg, and cheese taco 1 carne guisada with cheese taco 2 sweet teas and a coffee totaling approx. $25 Happy eating!

Me and my husband came here on a whim, craving breakfast tacos and needing something affordable. We knew this place was good from the moment we walked in! We got all the food shown for less than $20 and it was delicious. Everything has a great authentic homemade flavor, including the tortillas. And the service was wonderful. We were constantly being checked on and were treated very well. Highly recommend and we will be back!
