This review is for today 12/11/22 Apparently I interrupted the conversation of the two girls in the front. The shorter girl dark hair says hi, but turns back around and starts having a conversation with her co-worker. She finally turned around again, and with a smile I asked if she was finished with her convo(because how rude of me to be there right)Once my order was placed I went to get jalapenos and salsa Unfortunately they were out of the chunky salsa. So I look over at the girl with the dark hair and ask her if they were out. She gave me the hold one moment (with her finger in the air) and continue talking to the other girl. Mind you there were no people in line. I went about 30 seconds and I asked the other young lady (taller hair is lighter )could you please bring more jalapenos and salsa? She turns and repeats it to the other girl with the dark hair and that's when she finally goes to the back and gets it. I come to this restaurant often. The service is usually very good. This is the first time I've experienced bad service here(Blatantly being ignored and treated as if I was bothering her- dark hair). Unfortunately they do not wear name tags so I did not get a name and I did not want to interrupt them again because the conversation had to be important to ignore someone giving you business. I do not like to complain but I do feel that bad service needs to be held accountable because I'm spending my money with your establishment when I can easily spend it with...

This Mexican restaurant is a fantastic spot for anyone craving authentic flavors and a welcoming atmosphere. One of the standout features here is the salsa bar, which offers a wide variety of options to suit every taste and heat level. From mild and tangy to fiery and bold, there’s something for everyone, and it’s a fun way to personalize your meal.

The staff here are incredibly kind and attentive, creating a warm and inviting experience that keeps you coming back. The patio is another highlight—spacious and perfect for enjoying a meal outdoors, whether you’re catching up with friends or dining with family. We put in a big to go order and they put it together fast and friendly.

Their menu offers all the staples you’d expect, and they execute them beautifully. The bean and cheese tacos are comforting and delicious, packed with flavor and just the right texture. The pastor tacos were a real treat—juicy, well-seasoned, and bursting with authentic flavor. Pair these with one of their refreshing aguas frescas, and you’ve got a meal that feels like a celebration.

The only thing that was not our favorite were the crispy beef tacos. While the flavor was unique and different from the typical style, they just weren’t something we’d order again. That said, everything else was spot-on, and it’s clear this place puts a lot of care into their food...

I’m updating my review today. This place is my absolute favorite San Antonio Mexican restaurant! I went and picked up food for my daughter and I after church Sunday night and I ordered a couple of things we hadn’t tried there before. I usually get the beef taquitos/rolled tacos and a Chile Relleno a La cart. I ordered my daughter the adobo chicken combination plate and I got the chili relleno and shredded beef taco plate. And everything was absolutely amazing. I’ve had the chili rellenos here before, but I hadn’t tried their shredded beef tacos. Everything had so much flavor my daughter and I couldn’t stop saying mmmmm while eating. Even the rice was amazing. The beans were amazing. I usually don’t like Mexican rice and beans at the local Mexican restaurants because they’re usually bland and the beans and rice had lots of flavor. The shredded beef taco was delicious. Just like I used to get in California. I have been telling everyone I know about this place. Everybody is really nice here too. They have warm grilled onions and jalapeños for self serve. They have a delicious salsa bar. Even the iced tea is amazing. Oscar is a wonderful cook. When I was eating I had to call them and tell them how delicious everything was. Great prices! I highly recommend eating here and then you will be craving...

This is hands down the best Mexican food in my neighborhood (and there’s quite a few). The quality of the food always hits and is super flavorful. The California burrito is my go to most of the time, but every thing I’ve had there is always really good. Paired with their unique fresh salsa bar this place is a no brainer when getting bang for your buck. Staff and service is amazing as well. They are also open until midnight. I recommend 100%! 5 solid stars.
