Every single time I come into this store, now under a new store manager than previous, I am treated as if I do not belong in the store. And it's never the employees that are on shift. It is always the store manager. This new one, and now this my second run in with him, is consistently rude, dismissive, and has a terrible attitude towards customers that he can't immediately help. The last time I was in, I had asked about ordering/pre-ordering Fire Emblem Collector's Edition. He just flat out told me no we're not doing that, waited about a minute then as I'm about to pay for my games that I am purchasing, oh lets add on that pre-order for Fire Emblem. I said no thanks, and he immediately went back to having a bad attitude. I wanted to purchase/pre-order the Collector's Edition. This time around I come in, to pre-order the Diamond Loot Box Borderlands 3. I'm immediately scoffed at, and told no that's sold out as if I'm stupid to come in to order that. Aside from the fact that GameStop has so little inventory for this product is ridiculous, its even more so that your store managers, the people your customers have the most interaction with, are treated like garbage. I bought my daughters a new $75 game for their switch for Christmas. Instead of buying from Amazon, Walmart, etc. i decided to give GameStop a try. I purchased the game right after Thanksgiving because I heard it was a popular game. A relative also bought them the same game that they received before Christmas. When I tried to return this unopened game with my receipt the day after Christmas, I was told they have a 15 day return policy and their is nothing they can do. I asked to speak to the manager, Leo, and he refused to help. When I asked for the District manager’s name and number, leo gave me the name but refused to give me the DM’s number, because he said he doesn’t like taking calls and has specifically asked his employees not to give his number for customer complaints.
Do yourself a favor and buy your games from somewhere that will allow you to return them. Don’t give your business to this company, I...
