My wife and I returned to Americus Diamond to have my wife’s wedding ring set cleaned. Aida was the associate that helped us and Aida went out of her way to ensure that we were satisfied with the ring cleaning. I asked Aida to show us various rings close to the specs that I was looking for in an upgrade. I considered myself a moderately-educated diamond buyer, but Aida really took the time to patiently dive deeper into the “4 Cs” of diamond shopping. Aida explained and demonstrated the shopping power and “bang for your buck” by sliding the scale between the “4 Cs” with comparing various rings and diamonds in stock. After all that, there was no pressure to buy. I even left my information and requested a call back in the event the ring I really wanted became available. After leaving the store, literally minutes later, Aida called and informed me that she spoke with a supervisor about the specifics of the diamond that I was looking for. That supervisor and that conversation made its way to the owner of the store who was at the store when we left. The owner of the store…THE OWNER OF AMERICUS DIAMOND spoke with the supervisor who relayed it to Aida that the diamond ring I was searching for was recently purchased and was in the process of being set in an arrangement to later be placed on the showroom floor. Aida called and told me about the newly acquired diamond and when it would be available to see. Needless to say, we went back the following day. Immediately upon entering, another associate recognized us, greeted us, and informed us that Aida would be right with us as she finished up with another customer. After a short viewing, the upgraded diamond was purchased.
With the help of Aida, other associates, up to and including the owner of Americus Diamond, we have a truly new respect for their customer service. Americus Diamond is clearly dedicated to customer service, quality and quantity of diamonds, and outstanding professionals. From associates greeting you as you walk in; associates helping you find the ring you truly are satisfied with; and even the owner becoming involved in the satisfaction of a customer - Americus Diamond will earn your business. I will definitely return to Americus Diamond for my next ring upgrade. If you are looking for the best diamond ring, go to Americus Diamond. You will be...
Read moreWent here based off of a recommendation from my boss and had the best experience.
The reason for my 4 star rating is based off of two things: There weren’t a lot of options within our budget (everything was really expensive) After we purchased my engagement ring the associate sighed and seemed like she didn’t want to keep helping us.
I walked in and was greeted instantly and had 1-on-1 attention with my associate. She was really nice and extremely knowledgeable about everything. Seeing my Diamond and getting it verified was great. The whole experience was amazing. I did find something a little over our budget but we were okay with it. It was such a great experiences compared to Jared’s or Kay, even the rings look nicer. After going back to Jared’s and Kay’s I felt like their rings looked cheaper if that makes sense? They explain a little about the 4 C’s which is nice for the brides that don’t do their research.
Anyway the entire experience was amazing I recommend 100000% to go here it really makes the engagement process nice and surreal. The customer service is exceptional and the options are endless. I even got my ring resized the exact same day.
The only thing that really upset me was after we had purchased and signed the paperwork required, my boyfriend wanted to look at some wedding bands so we asked our associate if we could have 10 more minutes of her time and she sighed loudly and said she had another couple waiting, which I thought was extremely rude since we had just spent a pretty penny on a new ring. We didn’t ask her in the middle of the next couples appointment we asked her as I was waiting for our credit card to go through. I understand it’s hard to work with couples during this important time but the experience is also overwhelming for us. Besides that I would recommend this place!
I was really indecisive over what I wanted and ended up finding my dream ring, even my bf loved it, and I never thought I would get a gold ring. My ring is beautiful the pictures don’t...
Read moreI went to Americus twice within the last 30 days. The first time I went was with my boyfriend. He wanted to let me look at rings to get an idea of what I might like. I selected 3 rings and said I would sleep on them to see if I still felt the same when I came back to the store. The first woman that helped us did a great job at writing down the rings I selected so my boyfriend could return at a later date to select one if I felt those were good choices.
On August 20th, I returned to the store alone determined to find the perfect ring. At approximately 6:00 pm a sale man approached me when I walked in the door. I was excited about the rings I selected but worried about the price of my first choice, however, I still requested it be added to my new list because I was told the diamond could be changed if needed to match our budget. I selected 3 rings and was happy with my choices. I ranked them and requested they be added to my registry. I was confident my request would be met. That did NOT happen.
When my boyfriend returned to the store today to actually purchase one of the rings, they initially couldn't even find my registry. Later the woman who helped him was able to locate it according to my boyfriend. We met for lunch today and I was discussing with him the type of ring I wanted. His eyes got large when I showed him a picture similar to the style I selected last week. I could tell by his reaction that was NOT the type of ring he purchased. Suffice it to say, I'm upset because the last guy that helped me didn't do his job. His attention to detail was extremely lacking. He likely didn't even add the rings I wanted to my registry apparently. Maybe he thought we couldn't afford it. Who knows. I'm extremely disappointed by this experience. It makes me not even want a ring from Americus anymore. They don't deserve our...
