I recently left my wallet where I was eating with my family. As soon as I realized, I went back asking the customers who were seated in the same place. I then asked the ladies in the front and they asked if anyone had turned in my wallet and were told no. I had left thinking I lost it, which was my fault but then my family told me to go back and ask to review the cameras. When I entered and asked the ladies again in the front, one of them said they already were and asked how long it would take to review it, she went back and checked and said that they were still reviewing it. After waiting 20 minutes, I asked again and was told the same thing, and I asked to speak to a manager about the situation. Brittany was the manager who came out and I asked her how much longer it would take and just said we're reviewing it, and started to be a little rude going on and saying that I could call SAPD, when I stopped her and informed here that I have cameras at home and it doesn't take this long to go back and can forward pretty fast. Again she got a little more rude and mentioned SAPD again, when I stopped her and informed her that all I had asked was how much longer and she said 20 more minutes. I told her I would be waiting. While waiting the lady in the front came and asked me "is this it?" Said a lady turned it in and had be tucked away hidden in the women's restroom. I understand that I left my wallet there accidentally, but the staff was of no help, saying they're busy and Brittany the manager was of even less help just trying to make me go away and take it up with SAPD if I wanted to. Never offered to take me back and see the footage or was of no help whatsoever. Just telling me there's nothing they can do and all along someone had hidden my wallet in the women's restroom. Had it been a customer and found it, they would've turned it in or taken it with them. My concern is if an employee found it and hid it, to later take it at the end of their shift, and all this should be on cameras, how long would it have taken management to tell me, and what is the policy of employees finding things and turning...
Read moreHaven’t been here in a very long time. I forgot why I stopped coming…. Tonight was a reminder to not come back ever again.
1.) drive thru employee was talking to a friend in the drive thru. Employee says “see you later.” Same Customer finally get her her order taken over mic.
2.) I was on 2nd lane W about 4-6 cars ahead of me. Cars that came after my arrival on first lane were attended before anyone took my order.
3.) waited about 30 mins before employee came out to hand food to 2nd lane.
4.) employee GIVES MY BIG ASS BAG OF FOOD , to her friend, her friend jets fast tf off the property.
5.) employee walks over and asks me “what?” Like she knew I was going to tell her.
6.) Employee claims she forgot food inside. Never comes back out w my food. Had to call the store. The cook came out to give me my food, he confirms it needed to be remade.
7.) it’s just two tacos w rice n beans. Not the same plate I was use to seeing at restaurants. I haven’t been there in years and I didn’t even know it’s not a true asada plate. I never thought of ordering asada before in the past from this place.
8.) asked to return it to the restaurant. As I arrive Frank the manager comes out and the first thing he says is “Look, I’m not going to argue w you but it’s there on the menu so don’t say it’s not.” Nobody was arguing. I even admitted I had no idea because I DID NOT READ IT FULLY due to slant in title.
9.) he didn’t wanted to give me my refund and offered a new plate but made it clear I couldn’t request a traditional carne asada plate. It will come cut up to tiny pieces. I kindly declined this offer.
10.) still Frank wouldn’t take no for answer and still offered something else , anything else except what I originally requested. (A GM said I could request this).
11.) Frank offers a fajita plate but it will come sliced up into pieces as well. Unfortunately, I’ve always disliked fajitas. And at this point …I’m very frustrated.
12.) AGAIN, I kindly declined. Requested my refund for the third time. He finally said okay.

11/22/2020 I have no idea why but we decided to give Mama Margie's on Zazamorra another try this morning. 100% worse than the time we went before. First off we didn't get our full order. Ripped off, 3 tacos missing. Second our tacos once again were cold and cincey. Learned our lesson the hard way. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!! AGAIN, how hard is it to get good tacos in SA, Tx?? We usually enjoy Mama Margies. However, this location has only disappointed us weekend after weekend. This morning I only had maybe a half of teaspoon of eggs on my egg and bacon taco, the cheese was grossly clumpy, and the carne guisada was cincy too. The salsa had no flavor and seemed frozen. Seems they need to work on their tortillos as well. Ours were under cooked and gummy. We wont be going back. How hard is it to make a good...
