I had the worst, most inconvenient, and frankly embarrassing experience I've ever had at a Chipotle. I placed a catering order for pickup at this location for 8:45 PM. The order was for 25 people. I showed up after an event to pick it up and take food back to the attendees, and the restaurant had no clue there was an order. The DID receive it, and confirmed that it was the right day, time, and location. But had NO explanation as to what went wrong. To make matters worse, their kitchen was practically closed even though they were over an hour from official close time. They said it would be 45 mins-1 hr before they could have the order ready. My event was over. I had 25 hungry people to feed and they wanted me to wait an hour, even though I'm sure it would've likely been longer. I had to find a restaurant that could seat 25 people on short notice, on a FRIDAY. Luckily, BJs Brewhouse came through and we didn't even have to wait. I called this location the next day and they LITERALLY would not let me speak to the GM (who's card they gave us the night before.) They insisted I call the "customer care" line to be taken care of. They said "we can't give you the GM's number" but I wasn't even asking for it. I just wanted them to take my number and have the GM call me back. Nope. Service line or bust. (BTW, they still had my $350.) I called the line. Surprise surprise, it was an answering service. They said someone would "call or email me back." Obviously, I knew they wouldn't call. They emailed. I asked for a call in the email. They asked for more info. I asked again for a call. They didn't reply. After 6.5 hours I replied again with an explanation. Still no call. They still have my money. This was this past Friday. Today is Tuesday. I put a lot of money through Chipotle. Not only do I eat there regularly with my family, I do several large catering orders a year through an organization I am with. But they don't care. Read morePlaced an order on the app and when I went to pick up the woman at the chipotlane was already visibly irritated. She mentioned they had not received my order/payment that was placed at 6:30 and I would need to step inside. I pulled up my order to confirm it was placed , under my name, and at the correct location. At the register they couldn't find the order. I then proceeded not show them the information on my phone. They wouldn’t bother looking at it while telling me I didn’t place the order, it was under a different name, or wasn’t at this location. After pointing out multiple times all that information was correct and on my screen everyone had an attitude. While I understand this could have been an app error their lack of customer service and compassion was disappointing. Instead of actually looking at the app for confirmation they preferred to claim I was incompetent and then proceeded to mock my name after she was already once corrected. It’s now 7:20 and I was asked to stand in line and start again. At which this point absolutely not. Thank god we walked inside because we both noticed how disgustingly dirty it was inside. I stood there and waited 10 minutes before they got to me. Another employee who was on a lunch break cut in front of me to get dressing from someone behind the counter which was really rude and he was in my personal space to do that. When they finally got to me I ordered steak tacos. They literally put 5 cubes of steak on each taco. After she put steak that had been clearly sitting there for a while on two of the tacos, the cook came up and brought some fresh steak and told her to give me fresh steak. She put fresh on ONE tacos. I usually don’t get rice and beans on my taco because usually they are pretty full after all the toppings but had to tell her to go back and add some on because they just looked pathetic with the minimal amount of steak on it. I also purchased a chips and queso after seeing how small the tacos were. The chips were so stale that they were almost chewy. For everything it was $17.00! Not worth it at all.
