I went there by myself and when I let the Hostess know I was alone, she still told me I was going to have to wait 30 minutes, I said " I'm eating alone, I'm not waiting for anyone " She said you still have to wait. I just left, I understand when you go as a group, then yes, you wait, but when they go out of there alone, they do not make you wait that long, so I left. This is the second time they decided that I should not be treated like a customer should be treated some time back. Probably like about 2 months ago, me and my daughter and I went there to eat before a movie and we ordered a drink that we could not finish. And I know in the past they have forded into another cup, sealed it, and then let me take it home. That particular day They did not let me do that. Me and my daughter and I had way too much left in our big cup, and we were trying to take it bit, butt they kept insisting that we couldn't. So we didn't make a big deal about it. We left all our money there for the drinks. And we went about our business a couple of days later. Me and some of my other friends went To eat there to eat, and a friend of mine couldn't finish her drink, and I told her to try to finish it, because the other day me and my daughter were there trying to do that ( take it with us in a sealed cup ) and I told her that we were told " they no longer do that, But my friend said they always let me take it home, I said I'm telling you they said " that they no longer do that, and no matter how much we asked the answer was no and even the manager came to out table herself and said no to us . So we had no choice but to leave our overpriced drinks more than half full, And Mt daughter still tipped them. ( In my eyes, they didn't deserve that tip. Well, my friend said, " And I'm telling you they never say no to me! So I called my daughter on the cell and my daughter told my friend, "Yes, it's true, they didn't let us take our drinks. " So my friend said, "Watch me take it, And imagine my surprise when they let her take her drink home. I waw furious 😠 Right in front of me with a smile, they let her take the drink with her. So now I'm like, what the H E double hockey sticks !!!! So now I know that for some reason, they single me out, Only I can't take my drinks, but everybody else can, not only that Like a dumb ass I go back several times, and they find new ways to put me under their foot. And it's official, I will not be going back, I'm positive they won't care or miss my money. They get a zillion customers every day. But I'm sad, I did not do anything to make them upset, I used to go a lot. I have gone with friends and family countless times, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I do love the food, the Waitresses and waiters are very kind. I don't understand what happened with that one day. That they didn't want us to take our drink home. But yet everybody else around me gets to take their drink home to the point where the manager herself told me that I couldn't take it, but everybody else is just walking out with their drinks. Very hurtful Ps. Everywhere else I when I go to eat alone, they'd normally take me within the first five minutes so I don't know what...

Introduction: Well, well, well, my recent culinary adventure led me to an establishment that simply excelled in the art of disappointment. Eager to give this place a fair chance, I was repeatedly treated to a spectacular display of incompetence when it came to their esteemed bean and cheese dish. Brace yourselves for a review filled with sarcasm, as I recount my thrilling encounters with their consistently underwhelming beans.
The Bean and Cheese Catastrophe: Ah, the epitome of Mexican cuisine—beans and cheese. A dish is so simple, yet apparently so elusive for this particular eatery. It's truly impressive how they managed to consistently ruin something as basic as beans. With each visit, my anticipation grew, hoping against hope that they would miraculously get it right. Alas, I was met with the same disappointing outcome—a masterclass in spoiled beans that left me yearning for the nearest trash can.
Inconsistent Execution (Or Lack Thereof): It takes a special kind of talent to consistently execute a dish so poorly. Hats off to this eatery for mastering the art of inconsistency. The beans I encountered on my various visits showcased a wide range of undesirable textures. Sometimes, they embraced their raw nature, leaving my teeth in a state of perplexity as they grappled with undercooked, crunchy beans. Other times, they decided to take a leisurely swim in a pot of boiling water until they reached the point of complete and utter mushiness, losing any semblance of flavor or appeal. Bravo, truly bravo.
The Impact on My Worldly Experience: Oh, the joy of having my hopes dashed time and time again. It's an experience that leaves an indelible mark on one's soul, or at least on their taste buds. The consistent failure to deliver a decent bean and cheese dish had a profound impact on my overall impression of this establishment. It left me with a burning desire to explore the culinary wonders of other, more competent establishments, where the beans are properly cooked and the cheese is not an afterthought.
Recommendation (As If It Matters): To the fine minds behind this culinary disaster, I offer my heartfelt recommendation. Please, oh please, take a moment to reflect on the importance of mastering the intricacies of beans. Invest some time and effort into ensuring a consistent and satisfactory execution of this seemingly simple dish. Who knows? It might just save you from losing more customers who dare to venture beyond the realm of your bean-related calamities.
Conclusion: In the thrilling world of culinary adventures, it's a true rarity to witness such consistent incompetence in something as basic as beans. The mishaps with their bean and cheese dish overshadowed any redeeming qualities this establishment may possess, leaving a lasting impression of disbelief and disappointment. I can only hope that they embrace this review with the sarcasm it deserves and use it as a wake-up call to rescue their beans from their current sorry state. Until then, I bid adieu to this eatery and embark on a quest for a place where beans are treated with the respect...
Read moreI've been coming to this place for a few years now, I've had the occasional wrong order, but when you get to your destination there isn't too much you can do about it. But today was my last visit. I ordered the Mexican Plate. I ate the bean and cheese Chalupa, which is usually very good with a crispy corn tortilla. This one was limp. I began to eat the beef taco, I was almost done with it and I began to feel bloated. I also felt nauseated and very shaky. I felt like I was going to throw up but couldn't. I called the restaurant and asked the guy if they had any one else that had a similar experience. He went to ask in the kitchen and came back and told me no. He said maybe it was the Beans. I decided to go to my Dr. because the symptoms grew worse. I thought at first maybe I could ride it out, but I was scared. Upon examination my Dr agreed that it was what I had eaten and prescribed me anti nausea Meds. I went to the restaurant and spoke to the manager. He was very cold about the whole thing. After I told him what happened, he just said there was nothing he could do about it. He said that no one else had complained. I told him that I almost didn't go to the Dr. I had thought about riding it out, but my symptoms worried me. The manager would not even compensate me for my meal. I was hoping to get what I had spent at the Dr's office. I spoke to my son who runs a a restaurant, he said it was probably the beef. He couldn't believe that I was not compensated for my meal at least. You know I could have just been the lucky one to get that bit of bad food. I have seen some other reviews about costumers getting bad chicken and dirty utensils. It doesn't happen to many but it happens to a few. Too bad Mia's does not operate on integrity. I understand running a restaurant is hard work, but if you don't take care of your customers I wonder how you are with...
