This place is totally and utterly unprofessional, I couldn't believe the lack of customer service... a complete waste of time and an absolutely terrible experience. Had father son's date with my children and of course being that my children are 7 and 5 they were being disruptive and misbehaving, might I add terribly because they're little children and even with a very Stern father at the end of the day and if you're parent and have young children unfortunately they don't always fall in line , I'm sure some of you can relate. I was able to neutralize the situation for the most part but it was at the point of no return because my wife dropped us off so I couldn't just excuse myself from the situation like I desperately wanted to. The staff lacked compassion, went out of their way to avoid us and provide service and I was unable to even get up and get the beverage I paid for because I had to tend to my children and at no point did they approach this paying customer to ask if I needed anything or any assistance being fully aware of the situation because they were all completely focused on what was transpiring with me and my children and didn't even break eye contact as they continued to act in a unprofessional manner and carry on like immature little children instead of professional mature adults that desire for the patron to have a good experience even when things are a little off-kilter. When I addressed it head-on with them the blonde Caucasian manager lady who was front and center in the kitchen and was very much in our business the whole time all of the sudden disappeared... the young shift supervisor was like a deer in headlights and lacked the intellect necessary to address the situation. Be aware folks this was the actual restaurant manager which is pretty sad and hilarious at the same time when you think about it. Back to my point, I addressed it head-on with them as I'm sharing on this review and they shriveled up and refused to acknowledge and address it even after I came in and spent a pretty penny and left them the maximum tip to accommodate for any inconvenience which was an absolute mistake. Avoid this place at all costs, my first and last time at that particular Panera, waste of money complete lack of attentiveness and total unprofessionalism, this location will disappoint you immensely. Also if you noticed from all of these reviews the ownership is not at all accountable and doesn't respond to any of these post so I think that pretty much sums...
Read moreGo to a different location or eat somewhere else. I echo below, how do you come to a place called Panera Bread and they are out of bread?
I ordered the pick two -a salad and soup and a cinnamon roll with a drink. The girl who took my order was rude and I had to ask several times for the item I wanted because she kept walking away or would repeat/I put the wrong item. Received my food, they were out of baguettes. The squash soup was really thick, didn't even drip when you lift up your spoon and was really sweet (almost like someone dumped sugar in it). Since they were out of bread, so I requested an apple over the chip option. The apple I received was completely bruised and had brown scratches all over it, not even edible because it was so brown. The cinnamon roll was old as well. The cinnamon roll was really dry and looked/tasted like it had been left out in the open for a couple of days. The agave lemonade and salad were good.
The facility was really dirty. I've been here for an hour and there is still napkin trash on the ground and dirty plates on the tables next to me. I can understand the dirtiness of this location was busy, but there are only 6 customers here (including my friend and I).
Very disappointed. Reminded me of why I rarely eat at Panera. Save your money and go...
Read moreThis San Pedro location is the absolute best as they have outstanding management there. I drove up the other morning and was chatting with the rep who was helping me. His name was Sergio. He was so pleasant and customer service oriented and made great suggestions. I joked that he should be the manager and then he told me he was! He definitely sets the right example for his staff as a leader. Sergio put a big smile on my face. I was happy to meet Sergio.
The next time I went, there was a gentleman named Robbie there at the window and he was also quite nice. He helped me with my order and then I found out he was also a manager or possibly the regional (not sure). I think it is great that the management does the work of the employees so they can empathize and walk a mile in their shoes. It helps them understand the clients and make improvements to processes, service, etc. Keep up the good work. I will be coming again and again and again and......
I highly recommend Panera in general but this store goes above...
