Well this was a whole process, ill start off by saying I have the knowledge tools and materials to Clay, and paint correction my own truck. But I travel for work so currently and value my time over what the cost of this was supposed to be. Additionally my truck was covered in a road salt from being in North Carolina. So I advised the team it would need and extremely thorough prep wash before going the the scratch maker 3000 tunnel. First trip, Jan 24th, where I spent $129.10 on the service and 20 for the tip. I went in for just a full service wash nothing extra but was upsold and bought the clay bar because I knew my truck needed it terribly. So I dropped it off my kids and I walked to target, ate lunch and came back to pick up my truck and I noticed my paint looked far worse than it did originally. These were not swirls but a back forth motion same as when you clay bar. The manager comes out and try to explain you can not cause scratches with a clay bar. When in fact you absolutely can, I even point out spots on the truck where not only could you see drag marks from the clay bar (caused by inadequate lubrication) but around the door handles and where my cab meets the bed there was still white salt staining! And when running your bare hand across the hood you could still feel an incredible about of embedded contamination. So not wanting to argue any further the manager offered for me to pay for the paint correction and he would through in a full interior detail. I agreed reluctantly due to the lack of quality on the clay bar. I come back the following Monday Jan 27th Same day I was leaving to go back to North Carolina. And drop off my truck first thing in the morning and tell them take all day if you need too. It was cloudy and no direct sun. I picked up my truck about 4.5 hours later but due to the lack of sun to show scratches couldn't really inspect the "paint correction" this day I spent $210.10 plus 30 for the tip.well I left for Asheville NC and had not washed my truck at all until today. Where I hand washed it at home after using a pressure washer. I hand washed with the two bucket method ensuring all dirt was off my wash mit before returning the clean water bucket. I washed in only straight lines in direction of travel of my truck to ensure that I created no new marring or swirls. And then I was extremely irate, so I grab my DA polisher and some filler free and body shope safe, water baded scratch and swirl compound and spent 5 minutes on a small section of my driver's door, see below. I expect a response and some sort of plan to correct this lake of quity service I received. Note I am driving back to Asheville NC on Wednesday the 22nd. To.ensure understanding the first picture attached is what Washtub had accomplished with a trained professional. The picture where swirls are greatly reduced is what I did as a hobbyist diy'er.

I regularly visit the Wash Tub and I’ve always received great service, however my most recent visit was a whole new level of customer service! It was your typical hectic Friday afternoon, about an hour before the closing (of course) and Devin walked right up and welcomed me with the biggest smile. Like most I rushed through my wants and on top of that I expressed I was short on time, Devin’s smile never wore down, he not only listened patiently but he took time to make suggestions to enhance the care and appearance of my vehicle during my visit. I took him up on the suggestions and reiterated I was short on time, grabbed my bag and proceeded to the cashier praying I’d make it out on time and that I wasn’t going to end up overpaying. As I walked away I hear Devin giving his crew members directions to pretreat the tire walls to address the dried mud I had layered on and he also asked them to wash my car mats. The small detail of the mats went a long way for me, because I always forget to make that request and it made me feel he really listened and took time to find the ā€œlittle thingsā€. I see my vehicle pull around from out of the wash, during that time it’s getting closer to 6 pm and the customers are starting to pour in lining up one after another. I notice Devin is bouncing back and forth, welcoming guest and working on my vehicle. At first, I’m thinking he’s just helping while the vehicles(s) ahead of me finish to free up other crew members. I pay closer attention and quickly realize that is not the case at all, Devin took it upon himself to roll up his sleeves and personally attend to my vehicle knowing I was pressed for time. Quick on his feet and with such a detailed eye he really made my visit special, I felt like a VIP! He managed to care for my vehicle and continue to welcome new customers as they arrived…giving them all that same great smile, assisting each with easy and attention, then between guest he’d hurry back to my vehicle to continue where he’d left off. Before I knew it, he was done and my vehicle looked better than the day I drove it off the car lot! Still smiling, he politely apologized for taking so long (which was absurd, he did so much in the time I had allowed him) and asks me to inspect my vehicle and let him know if anything needed attention. As I inspect my vehicle I’m thinking ā€œWow, this guy could have blown me off, let my vehicle run the course and let it be done when it’s doneā€, but he didn’t. He made my experience his personal goal for the day (well at least that’s how I felt 😊). I was on cloud number nine, my vehicle looked and smelled amazing, I was on time and it was all thanks to this dedicated hard working young man. Devin not only gave me spectacular customer service but most importantly he cared for my vehicle as if it were his. I hope Devin’s hard work, leadership and dedication is recognized. Thanks to Devin I will continue to be a loyal Wash Tub customer! I would also like thank the General Manager, Lorenzo Ortiz and his staff at the Bitters location…Excellent job, I’ll see you all...

Update: I was contacted by Isaac with the Wash Tub. He made arrangements to pick up my car and have the detail repeated. The car now looks as good as I would expect. Additionally, they applied a protectant to the exterior. The vehicle looks shiny and new. I am very appreciative of the Isaac's and the Wash Tub's effort to correct my experience.

I hate to leave bad reviews, but I am just so disappointed in the detail service I received today. I had the Complete Interior Detail done on my Honda Pilot today. The is a $169 service. Upon inspection of the vehicle I found crud still in the seat seams, parts of the leather weren't visibly dressed which makes me question if the conditioning lotion was even applied everywhere. The inside of the center console still has kid crumbs inside (he did inform me that they need customer permission to open that, which makes sense). He offered to pull it back in and fix the crud and crumbs. I couldn't tell the difference. Finally, I'm not even 100% sure that the carpets were shampooed. They were completely dry to the touch. I've had the carpets shampooed in the past and they are always damp with instructions to crack the window s for a few hours so they dry and don't mildew. Not today. I should have gotten a manager, but I was just too upset at spending this much money, and getting what looks and feels like the much less expensive Express Interior Service. Everyone here is always super friendly and welcoming, but I'm not sure that I will...
