Mobile order submitted 9:15pm to pick up at 9:20pm. Arrived at location then checked into app. At 9:30pm I clicked on Red Speaker button and no answer. Got out of car to check inside and no one is present. Their sign says Short staffed so different hours. Checked bank and was charged for meal already. Called customer service and after giving a lot of detail they couldn't find the transaction so will escalate the issue. Told wait 7 to 10 business days and if its not refunded to contact them back. In this time I could've canceled order and gone elsewhere but the app doesn't allow for cancelations. I get it they are shortstaffed but it shouldn't be extremely difficult to cancel an order especially one that hasn't been received yet. Then to call and they claim they can't find it to wait a week or two. This is a major reason I have trust issues using Sonics mobile ordering system much less physically coming to order at sonics. Just stay away and let them shut down Sonics. No point if they are going to leave early short staffed or not expect Sonics to be closing locations in the next year or two.

My family came out for a Sunday dinner. They got the slush order wrong which it clearly stated on our receipt so I offered to just keep the mistake and pay for the correct one the lady with the butterfly tattoos on her arm told me not to worry about it and gave me the correct drink. When I got my bag of food and checked it they gave me tots when I ordered fries. The man on the speaker asked if I wanted tots I told him no I want fries. Then when I told the lady it was wrong she snatched the bag from my husband's hands and threw a huge fight and started yelling at who I assume is a manager he was wearing a black collared shirt. Then threw a card with a lanyard in it at the counter and walked out to service someone at the car spots. Like as if we can't see through the windows. I am very shocked at this service they were not even busy when we went there were maybe 3 cars. Now I know why they aren't busy. Terrible service. Y'all need to reevaluate your employees or re-train them. They definitely need to be retrained on the fryer because my onion rings were so burnt.

I understand that it’s hard to find quality employees, but holding onto a bad one is not the answer. Although the other 4 employees there were kind and polite, the female manager on duty during the hours of 4:40 PM to 5:16 PM on 7/29/23, is by no means manager material. She is rude and unprofessional as if the restaurant could care less what customers think of it. They claimed to be short staffed, but there were at least 5, maybe 6, employees working and only 2 cars waiting on orders, including me. To the spokes person replying to the disappointed customers with an apology, IT’S NOT WORKING. Also, I did call corporate customer service to inform them of my specific issue. So, I hope they address it, because as long as she’s there, I too will NOT be going back. And since there’s no way to really know unless I actually go there, I will never go back there again.

The way these employees of this very specific location turn down their customers is extremely sad . Been coming to this location for 10 years and after this day of July 17 I will sure never be back. It was 10:15 pm when I decided to pull in the drive in . The person taking order says: drive through only at this time . Alright then I go in the drive through and as I’m sitting there 20 minutes go pass by . Someone barely says we’ll be back w you shortly as I’m sitting there no one talks back in another 20 minutes that go by . I find it strange as I’m the only one sitting in the whole parking lot . As the minutes go by no one says nothing and I keep trying to say hello in the speaker but no one seems to answer as i find it strange I decide to pull up to the window 3 more cars come behind me and a girl crazy stoned drugged slowly says hi I say are you guys open ? She claims yes . Then looks at me like some weird person like cmon I’m just trying to place an order 40 min ago . She takes my order . I wait there for ANOTHER 15 MINUTES. Some different girl opens the window and says hi how can I help you without any sign of wanting to take my order I mention I had already placed an order with the other girl and this girl tries to act thug and say she doesn’t know anything about it while the other girl is just there banging music and on her phone unbothered. She tries to say what I wanted to order was ā€˜ā€™ no good ā€˜ā€™ i process to give up and say I don’t want anything anymore as I already wasted a whole HOUR just trying to order some sonic girl working shuts the window on me without a word like girl are you even gonna apologize for your whole service . I am taking step on this and calling their corporate. Because it is not fair to do this to a business that’s apparently in hours of operation just for some lazy employees to brush off their customers with excuses and ignorance they should be sued !!! I was too nice not to say much about them being such arrogant employees and on top being on drugs and banging...

One of the worst experiences ever… Today I went to sonic and ordered a mini blast with extra Oreo and a medium blue coconut slush with bursting bubbles. The wait took 45 minutes and there had to be only 4-5 other cars. When I got my food they did not bring a spoon or a straw. I asked for a spoon and straw and our carhop seemed annoyed and was reluctant to grab then. I take a look at my blast and it had no Oreos in it at all. I had very politely told the girl if she could just put some Oreos on top of the blast she flat out said ā€œno.ā€ Then my brother told me that there were no bubbles in his slush. I called over the manager and I explained the situation. I showed him the slush and stirred it around in front of him so he could see there was no bubbles. He responded ā€œwell I put them in thereā€ I said ā€œsir but I’m stirring it in front of us and I haven’t seen one.ā€ I also did the same with my blast and he said the same thing. I just asked him if he could just bring us a cup with Oreos and with the bubbles so he didn’t have to remake it. He said ā€œno because I put them in there.ā€ I then just asked for my refund and he didn’t give me a refund. So once again manager and carhop was extremely rude and had no sense of customer service at all. I already have low expectations for sonic but this is past low expectations. They didn’t even give me what I had paid for. This is not the first time I had problems with this sonic and with how rude the workers are… I hope this gets resolved because this sonic lost me as a long time customer… I have been coming to this sonic for years now but I’m not coming back for a long time, especially if this...

I placed a mobile order using their app, when I arrived, it asked for my stall number. I typed in the stall number and for about a minute the order board showed my order being prepared. Then everything went wrong.

The board said there was a error and you press the red button. I told the employee I had a mobile order and they said it would be right out. The order reappeared only to disappear again about three minutes later.

Over 15 minutes went by, and my order never came out. I had only ordered $4 worth of food. I press the red button again and told them I was still waiting. They said my order would be out right away. The employee brought my food out, and apologized for it taking so long. I open the bag and it was someone else's food, I had ordered a burger and tater tots and this bag had four orders of Cinnabons.

they took the order back and a few minutes later the correct order came out. This time the food was cold oh, I assumed it had just been sitting there since I ordered it.

When I buzzed in again to tell them my food was cold, the employee told me the reason it was cold was I didn't punch in my stall number when I arrived. when I told them I had told somebody to order board had an error oh, they offered to replace the order, which took another 8 minutes.

I drove away with hot food, only to discover down the road my tater tots tasted like chocolate for some reason.

It seems my entire experience was a malfunction of both technology and human. I rarely eat at Sonic, and had never used the app before. Needless to say this experience...
