The only reason I rated it one was because zero wasn’t an option. Just have to say that these people were very disrespectful to my family and I and went as far to threaten us by calling the cops. I arrived at 10:30pm and waited about 10 mins or so at the speaker to order and I saw this lady walk out look at us and went back inside. We eventually just drove up and continued waiting. When we finally reached the window the lady who happened to be the manager tells us that we have to go around again cause they can’t take our order at the window after waiting in line for almost half an hr. It’s already almost 11 and we told her we had been waiting awhile and just wanted to order the coney hotdog. She continued with the we have to go around talk and slams closed the drive thru window. Tried to get her attention and she continued to ignore us. The guy in green threatens us if we don’t move he will call the cops. And also just closes the window like we weren’t there. We literally drove up because no one was answering the speaker and we are the ones getting attitude? I just pulled a 13hr shift at a fine dining restaurant. I know y’all are busy and I understand being understaffed but it is still unnecessary to treat customers like this. Read moreThis Sonic makes your meals very well. They don't mess up as much as what they used to. The staff is always very small, so the wait for the food whether you go into the drive-thru or park at one of the Stalls oh, it does not matter your wait will be very long. Not only is your wait for the food long, but your wait to order is very long too. If you use the app then the wait is not as bad, but still not good. The crew is very nice, just very slow. I would not recommend that you go to the Sonic unless you know that you have an hour to spare. It does not take an hour to get your food, but it sure does feel like it does. Customer service is important to them, but speed is not. They only have part of the customer experience down properly not the whole thing pit they don't seem to understand that speed of service is a part of customer service. This Sonic is across the street from Palo Alto College. The Sonic is close to where I live and my kids like Sonic so I go here even though I hate the experience every time. Horrible does not even start to express how I feel...

My family and I came to this location before 4pm and waited a good 20 minutes before our button stopped blinking red three times and we had to push it again each time. I get off to ask if they can please take our order but they said they are understaffed. (Even though the other cars got their orders taken before we did) So we waited some more and finally we place our order but they would no longer give us our discount on our slushies and drinks since it was no longer 4pm by the time they took our order. This would of been okay but they told us in a rude manner. I don't know if this place lacks organization or leadership since this isn't the first time we have had a bad experience. Other times we have found hair in the food, black plastic in the chili dogs, and styrofoam in a vanilla shake. Idk. I just wish this place has some better people working there since this is the closest sonic to where we live so hopefully things...
