Whataburger — Restaurant in San Antonio

Worst experience ever. The staff working the night of April 25, 2021 has no idea what they are doing from the individuals working the drive thru to the manager Martin. We gave our order the first time to a girl at the drive thru, she didn’t even put it in; we then watched her run out for the day without saying anything. The next window we get Anthony. He couldn’t find the order and kept walking around lost instead of just taking the order. He walked around for five minutes then walked to the front dining room. When he finally returned looking even more clueless than he was when he walked away. He asked for our order and in the middle of taking it closes the window and walks away again. By this point I am ready to request for a manager when he opens the door and says “its going to be 20 bucks”, without even fully hearing our order. We demanded to speak to a manager but were told he’s busy but we could go inside if we wanted to. We parked and walked inside to find a group of workers standing around and talking at the cashier stand. They didn’t acknowledge us so I spoke up asking for a manager. The man at the front introduced himself as the manager Martin. We explained the situation and he said there was nothing he could do but take the order a third time. Explaining it wasn’t his fault the card machines were down. Which had zero to do with us not having our order taken in the first place. Nor was this told to us at the drive thru. At this point I gave up and asked for the number to the corporate office to which he said “it’s some 1-800 number”. I have never had to deal with such poor customer service skills; Let alone met a manager who had zero service recovery skills. Go to ANY other location but this one. They have no idea what they are doing. And the manager Martin has no intention of making issues right, he just tosses out excuses about how it out...

I came here around 4am this morning and I waited a good while to get my food. I ordered my burger dry but it still came with mustard. No big deal. I went home and ate my burger with bread from my fridge. I noticed the cheese was old and looked like they microwaved my burger. I started to get a little angry now because I paid for this and I don't like wasting money. Still I didn't complain and just let it be. So I fell asleep at 5:30 to 6am but was awoken with awful stomach pains and had to rush to the restroom. To spare you the details I'm just gonna say it was bad and nasty. Not only did I have diarrhea but the food sat so bad in my stomach that I had to puke it all out. My body literally purged itself of this food. I don't know what happened to this burger but it surely wasn't good. The last time I came to this location I was put into the far right drive thru lane and waited for 30 minutes as I watched the people in the main drive thru line get their food. I was waiting there so long that the 4 or 5 cars who ordered their food around the same time as me were gone and new customers took their place. After 30 minutes I finally get my food and it is cold and it's not even my order. It took 30 minutes to cook 1 double meat with small fries and I didn't even get the right order. I tried to give this Whataburger another chance but it failed. Miserably. Never again will I eat at...

This location wasn't very good. Plenty of employees-just standing around the dining room. Manager acted completely oblivious. The store was dirty. The line to order was long. Both the soda & tea was out. The guy at the counter didn't want to fill my drink, so he yelled at another kid from the line to come get me a drink. Waited forever standing there. 2 other guys were there waiting too for a drink, because the machine was out and so was the tea containers. Wait for my dinner was long. Same guy from front counter brought my trey out and pretty much slammed it on the table and ran off. Completely rude as can be. Another guy brought the table behind me thier food, you could tell he was extremely busy but he was still nice and still brought me some ranch and ketchup. Halfway through my dinner I look up and see big rude guy at the counter taking orders but playing around with some young girl who was about 2 people back in the line! I thought oh ok, so he's not rude to everyone, just those of us he doesn't know -_- Again, manager just off in her own little world, completely ignoring the entire nasty, hectic scene at hand. Dining room tables and floors were obviously filthy, no drinks, rude employees and about 4 employees just standing in the dining room on thier phones, also completely...
