I'll preface by saying that I lived in Brazil for a while and know a good açaí when I see one.

I want to say something nice about this place but I'm having a tough time. The bowls are visually appealing, but that's about all I can come up with.

For starters, the staff didn't really seem thrilled that customers were in the store. The bowl took a while to come out, about 20 minutes. At one point I'm pretty sure they brought it out and gave it to the wrong guy, who took a few bites then sent it back. There were only three of us in the store, so it shouldn't have been too hard to take it to the right table. I don't know any of this for sure though, because I never got any kind of update during the wait.

It looks like they just moved to a new location in 18730 Stone Oak Parkway Suite 100. It smelled like fresh paint and felt like it was about 80° inside. Hopefully that'll get fixed soon though.

Most offensive of all was the açaí itself. As you can see in the picture, the bowl is a little less than half full (I swear I'm usually an optomist) with actual açaí. And I hate to say it but the açaí just wasn't very good, it tasted more like bananas (cheap ingredient) than açaí (expensive ingredient).

To sum it up, if you have the audacity to charge a tip before the product and service, make sure that your product and service are...

I had to pick up an order for DoorDash from here. Lete tell you not the friendliest staff. The front counter girl claimed up and down that the customer wanted it hot. I called and texted customer as they ordered through DoorDash. It said clear as day Iced Matcha sub Almond Milk.

The front counter girl then had attitude told the back of house person I was being ridiculous and still insisting that the customer wanted it hot while I had the customer on the phone and the customer kept saying she wanted it Iced.

The front counter girl then said she's out of ice and didn't want to remake it. This isn't for me. I'm just a third party independent contractor who's representing the customer. I'm getting paid on making sure I take the right order as they wanted it. The restaurant is getting paid I'm barely getting $5 for the job itself.

She finally remade the drink without ice. The customer was very disappointed. I'd recommend that this place of business not use DoorDash or 3rd party apps if they are gonna not care about their customers who want their product delivered.

Terrible service I wouldn't come back as a customer not and or for a paid...

I’ve visited this location of Rise Up Açaí several times, and while the quality of the food remains consistently good, there are a few key areas where the experience falls short—especially in comparison to their downtown location.

Unfortunately, the customer service here hasn’t been very friendly or engaging. The atmosphere also feels less welcoming, lacking the vibrant energy and attentiveness I’ve come to expect from the brand elsewhere.

Each time I’ve visited, even with just one or two people ahead of me, it has taken 15 to 20 minutes to receive a single açaí bowl. While I appreciate fresh preparation, the wait time is excessive for such a simple order, particularly when the store is not busy.

Overall, while the bowls themselves are enjoyable, the slow service and less-than-warm environment make it hard to recommend this location over others. A bit more efficiency and friendliness would go a long way in improving the...

This place was my go to for açai. Unfortunately the customer service has been horrible for a while and I’m going to need to find a new place. I recently ordered an açaí bowl with no cacao nibs and paid for extra granola, I even left a tip since I was asking for accommodations and when I received my bowl it had cacao nibs and no granola. I called and the person transferred me to someone else who barely said sorry and just said I’ll get a refund for the granola on the card. It honestly seemed like he was confused and didn’t really care. I’m extra upset because a while back I fell at this location, and the girl at the front didn’t care at all. I told her I fell and she literally said “ok”. They didn’t have a wet floor sign and again didn’t seem to care. I know these are younger kids working there but customer service should always be something you prioritize no matter the age. It’s sad because this spot used to be so good.
