Hostess with glasses is clueless and caters to the regulars. She attempted to seat a family of 6 adults at a small booth while a telling an open table for 8 was clearly being saved for her regulars. We were told over the phone no reservations... then while at the hostess stand I saw a secret reservation chart with names and times, I called that out and she fumbled-- it was so obvious. I spoke to the server and said we needed to be moved because the booth was to cramped. I then had to let the manager know I was aware of the secret list. Meanwhile where we wanted to be was in the bar area for its open tables and the hostess said no there wasn't room there for us. Lol, I looked over and said nobody is over there! Suddenly 8 people assemble across the bar and at the table tops.... ummm ok! Anyway the manager wanted to make it right of which we truly appreciated his willingness to give us a better experience. The food-- pizza and appetizers are very tasty. The salads on the other hand could really use some freshening up and better presentation as the ingredients are good but just needs less wilted lettuce and better chopping so each bite is a little bit of each veggie, too many chunks and bulky pieces. I had the secret garden salad or something named close to that-- with strawberries and canned pineapple, I didn't like it. The beer selection was effort and when I say effort I mean they seem to go above and beyond keeping it unique and appealing! Great job there! Eric was our server and did an fantastic job, especially with how crazy busy it was. Overall it was great food and atmosphere as well as service. Hostess just needs to not be so obvious and no that new customers can become regulars, so be just as accommodating, you are the first person a customer encounters so make...

Shelby (with the blue hair) Bartender, is one of the most amazing people you will have the pleasure to meet. Not only does she provide for the restaurant by loosely participating in the Mellow Mushroom"s media sites, she provides a level of service that I do not believe there is an existing adjective today that can summate it.... and beyond (let's be honest, if you meet her, you could call her Buzz Lightyear) for her bar guests. She zips and zooms around the establishment, executing perfect and efficient service. No one has a moment to ever feel forgotten or unnoticed. She has a positive cheery demeanor that has made my husband and I, decide to become her regulars. Shelby, if you're reading this, we will see you on a Friday sometime soon! Amongst her many other involvements in this establishment, she has an eye for beer. If you are an IPA fan, you HAVE to try Haze Wizard, from Carrollton Tx, 7.5% alcohol and its a blend of 3 different IPA's. Purchasing these beers while they are being sold by-the-can will help encourage the management to put it on tap! This is great for everybody who loves IPA's!

Below are some personalized toppings I chose that turned into one of the BEST pizzas I have ever had. The gentleman kind enough to deliver it to us, even exclaimed that, "this pizza, just like all of our pizza's, looks amazing" and that he appreciated our creativity. I hope you all will be brave enough to give it a try. It knocked our socks off to the point of profanity. Cheese: MonteAmore (on top of the existing mozzarella) Sauce: Olive Oil and Garlic Meats: Apple Wood Smoked Bacon, Italian Sausage Veggies: Kalamata Olives, Candied Pecans, and Artichokes.

Stopped in on 7/05/2024 to pick up an order. While I normally really enjoy Mellow Mushroom tonight was an off night for them. Overall, the pizza I order is always good. My favorites are the Holy Shiitake and the Kosmic Karma. I also enjoy their Greek salad, until tonight. I picked up the order around 9:35PM. I couldn't put my finger on it while at the restaurant, however, I told myself that something just looked off about the salad. When I arrived home, I promptly pulled up the menu to review the toppings that comprise their version of the Greek salad. Out of the Eleven (11) toppings that were named on the menu, my salad was missing Seven (7)! I did a customization of my Greek salad to only remove the sheep's milk feta cheese, and somewhere along the line the ball was dropped and I only received three toppings! What is usually a succulent filling salad, looked like a rushed, totally underwhelming hodge-podge of lettuce with a sprinkle of banana peppers, cucumbers, slices of Roma tomatoes, and some thrown in black olives (which are Not listed as part of the toppings). I also found a few bits of the sheep's milk feta in the salad which I picked out. For a full size $10.99 salad, this was not right. I also had a half and half pizza and whomever finished dressing it with the garlic sauce on the Holy Shiitake side was very heavy handed for some reason. I would have called back the same night, however, they closed at 10PM. I did not receive my printed receipt either. Please double check what you producing and serving to ensure it is what was ordered,...
